Mik_01010 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Incorrect performance and throughput calculations on AMD GPUs with the latest drivers (26.10+) Lower-than-expected values are observed for GFLOPS and bandwidth. Rolling back the driver restores these values. Additionally, the bandwidth figures differ between versions 8.25 and 8.40. Quote

Rolling back the driver restores these values. Additionally, the bandwidth figures differ between versions 8.25 and 8.40. 1) When performance regresses between video driver releases while retaining the same AIDA64 version, it usually means the manufacturer screwed up something in the new driver 🙂 2) Memory Copy bandwidth measurement has been fixed in AIDA64 v8.40 to avoid the influence of video card caches. In other words: the old AIDA64 versions measured partly the memory (VRAM) and partly the caches, so they used to show higher performance scores than what the VRAM were actually capable of pushing.
