Latest Stable AIDA64 Extreme & MSI X99S SLI KRAIT

Hello,

I just wanted to pass along to the developer(s) that there appears to be an issue with power and temp reporting accuracy in the latest stable AIDA64 Extreme and MSI's new X99S SLI KRAIT.

We would need a bit more information on that issue to fix it up ;) What is the actual problem? Which values are reported incorrectly?

Thanks,

Fiery

Hi Fiery,

Thanks for your response. In the temp readouts for example there is nothing for the VRM listed and in the power section it does not list out many of the typical voltages you would see such as cache, input etc. I can only see the CPU voltage there. Also the railings are reporting negative values (-) for some reason. This is using the most recent 23.2 BIOS on the MSI site.

Please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Sensor Debug --> ISA Sensor Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic.

Also right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Sensor Debug --> SMBus Dump (Full). Copy-paste the full results into this topic.

Hi Fiery,

It is definitely better, but for some reason I still cannot see VRM temp and some other voltages. And CPU vcore is not reading correctly.

Thank you for the feedback. I'm afraid we have no information on how to read VRM temperature on your motherboard, so we cannot implement that at this time :( As for the missing voltages, we can check them, but please let me know exactly which voltages are missing, and what are their current configured values (or what values does the UEFI Setup measure for those rails). Vcore is measured following MSI's spec that they provided for us. If it doesn't provide meaningful values, then ignore it and focus on the CPU VID reading instead.
