Is my ram defective?

Hello I recently built a new ryzen system, with the plan to overclock, I am able to successfully able to overclock my cpu, but my ram will not go past 2133 even trying with XMP. When I try to run the AIDA64 system memory test it fails within 5 seconds. I also do get rounding errors on Prime95 with those speeds as well. I have my bios updated to the latest F7, which i heard should be able to support high speed memory. What do I do?

Motherboard: Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600

Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x4GB 3000Mhz

Since the RAM acts up not only with AIDA64, but also with another stress testing software, I suspect it may just be some kind of compatibility issue between your RAM modules and your motherboard.  You may want to ask Gigabyte to resolve the issue in the next BIOS update.
