Lukutism Posted December 22, 2017 Share Posted December 22, 2017 Hello, i was checking my ssd temp and i found that there are temperature sensor 1 - 45c and temperature sensor 2 - 80 c... which one of my ssd temp , i dont understand , if 80c than my ssd overheating and that bad. Fiery Posted January 3, 2018 Share Posted January 3, 2018 Probably the secondary temperature shows a diode that is placed close to the SSD controller chip, while the first diode is placed far from it. In which case the first temperature would be considered or better labelled as "enclosure temperature"; while the second temperature should rather be called "SSD controller chip temperature" for example.
