PCDoctor Posted November 29, 2018 Posted November 29, 2018 I purchased AIDA64 Extreme in hope of troubleshooting my PC stability issue. I have recently built a new computer, and it has been randomly freezing every now and then. This is especially prominent while playing video games or watching YouTube videos. I thought it was my video card issue, so I RMA it to Gigabytes but then after 2 weeks of testing, they said they found no issue with the video card. Now I have no idea where to start. May I ask how can I use the AIDA64 to troubleshoot this issue? System Specifications: CPU: Intel Core i7 8700K CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15s Motherboard: Asus Prime Z370-A RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) Video Card: GeForce® GTX 1080 WINDFORCE OC 8G SSD1: ADATA SX6000NP (For Windows and Applications) SSD2: Corsair Force LE (For Gaming) PSU: EVGA SuperNova 850 G3 80 Plus Gold 850w Case: Cooler Master MasterCase H500M Quote

If it still doesn't work, then try to borrow a PSU from a friend and check if it is the culprit or not. If that still doesn't solve it, try to borrow a set of RAM modules. If it still doesn't solve it, then it could well be the motherboard, which is the most difficult part to replace. 1 Quote
