Bravo718
Hi Guys, Yesterday I ran an Aida 64 stress test. I have CPU, FPU, System Memory and Cache checked to run all 4 tests at once. I’m not sure if that’s correct, but that’s what I saw in video guides on YouTube. my system specs are: 9900KF (NOT overclocked) 32GB (4 X 8GB) 3800Mhz CL14-16-16 ram with XMP enabled running at 1.5v Aorus Z390 Master MB Asus Rog Strix RTX 3099 Cooler master C700M case with 4 fans NZXT Kraken X73 liquid cooler with 3 fans after about 2-3 mins Of running the stress test, I get spikes of up to 93C! This seems way to hot? When watching videos on YT of people running the same 4 stress tests they are getting temps of 75c on average. i believe my cooling should be adequate. I have also re applied fresh thermal paste and cleaned out all my fans from dust build up. Does anyone else get such high temps? And can someone suggest what could be the possible causes for getting these high temps? I have had no issues with my PC. I game a lot and run AAA game like cyberpunk on High settings and have never had a crash. Also my temps seem to be at around 70-75 when gaming. So I’ve only encountered these high 90+ temps when using the Aida64 stress test. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I'd check if the liquid cooler is properly installed on the CPU and also whether the heat is properly transferred out from the liquid cooler to the outside of the PC case. BTW, in order to achieve the highest thermal stress, only leave the FPU subtest enabled in AIDA64 System Stability Test.
