zigzagus
AIDA64 v. 2.30.1900 Extrime Edition defines date of Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) virus database incorrectly. SEP version 12.1.671.4971 is defined correctly but it's virus database date AIDA64 shows 03 October 2011 in spite of the fact it is up to date, see screenshorts. Fiery
We've implemented support for Endpoint v12 in the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild1929s4wtvl6pfnzip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Let me know how it works.
zigzagus
The result is the same, see screenshort. And one more thing: number of known viruses is incorrect too. I've also attached a screenshort of SEP built-in report about current virus definitions and it shows that actual number of known viruses on the 1st May 2012 is 76 069. tirex
Dear colleagues, the problem is solved or not?
Fiery
We did implement support for Endpoint Security v12 in AIDA64, but apparently it doesn't work in all cases. We'll check it again on different configurations, in a hope that we can catch the bug and fix it up.
tirex
http://forums.aida64.com/topic/1207-virus-database-is-549-days-old-symantec-endpoint-protection-v12/ Maybe combine the two topics, because they are very similar in nature?
