AIDA64 currently only supports reading strings and DWORD values from the Registry, and put them on external displays (or SensorPanel, OSD Panel, etc).  You need to find a way to write the Registry values into the following path:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\FinalWire\AIDA64\ImportValues

    And name them as:

    Str1
    Str2
    ...
    Str10

    for string values, or:

    DW1
    DW2
    ...
    DW10

for DWORD values.  As you keep updating those values in the Registry, the values get updated on your external display.

I have a txt file which contains the following information:

    k10temp-pci-00c3
    Adapter: PCI adapter
    CPU Temp:     +36.0°C  (high = +70.0°C)
    Tctl:         +36.0°C

I want to read the +36.0 value and output this as a Str1 value within HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\FinalWire\AIDA64\ImportValues

    How can I do this?

As I've stated above, we're not sure, since we've never had a chance to handle a current generation DPS-G.  If you need AIDA64 support for your next PSU, then I cannot give you a guarantee right now that it would work.  I can however assure you that if it doesn't work, then in case you can let us know the full model name and part number of your PSU, we'll do our best to purchase a similar unit and find out how to implement support for it.  If it has a USB connection and a manufacturer supplied Windows software that can read sensor values, then in theory any other Windows utility (e.g. AIDA64 ;) ) can be adjusted to perform the same task  :)

My iRGB PS arrived and I can confirm that DPS-G values are displayed without any issues.

I have been a user of this product in one iteration or another back to Everest days maybe 9 years ago. I freaking LOVE the remote sensor! I initially hooked up to a small USB LCD display at first, but recently purchased a refurb 6" Amazon Fire HD tablet and ran remote sensor through my local wireless network. Here's the results (photo didn't really get the colors correct, so there's a screen grab as well). My only request (which I have submitted) is to have an additional input field to manually enter the fan's known max rpm, so that the display can then give fan speed as a % rather than just rpm. Cheers.

Nice layout mate. Do you mind sharing the template, images etc? I would like to mod this for use with the Logitech G19 LCD, will give credits where necessary.

Thank you for your feedback. Your virtual machine has no USB device that would correspond to your Kraken X52 device. It's best to avoid running AIDA64 -- especially for hardware monitoring and benchmarking purposes -- in a virtualized environment. We cannot guarantee that any of the low-level hardware features of AIDA64 would work properly in virtual machines.

It turns out that my nzxt USB device had not been attached correctly. After a bit of jiggery-pokery, I have Aida64 detecting it now :-)

    Great work as usual.

p.s. even though I am running a KVM and VMWARE virtualised env, there has never been an issue running aida64, long may it continue...

  5. OK, I noticed that the kraken drivers SiUSBXp.dll   etc were not in system32/drivers so i put them there. Now the driver version appears in the usb dumb log.

However, still no sensors available :-(

    ------[ SiUSBXp Devices ]------

    DLL Version      = 3.5.0.0

  6. Wow that was quick, unfortunately, it still doesn't work, no sensors are listed and asetek is checked in stability...

Then please close CAM Software, start AIDA64, and right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> System Debug --> USB Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic, or attach the results as a TXT file to your post. You may need to enable status bar in AIDA64 / main menu / View first.

    Thanks,

Just try to close CAM Software, and see if it helps.  If it does, then I'm afraid NZXT still hasn't implemented the necessary synchronization mutexes to make it work together with 3rd party monitoring software like AIDA64 (and HWiNFO, HWMonitor, SIV, etc)

The issue is that it that doesn't work when CAM is closed hence why I thought you could do with some debug data? I don't know if there is anyone else using the new Kraken x52/x62 series AIOs with CAM v3 and has it working in Aida64???

  9. Renaming shouldn't be a problem about any sensor items. What you can do however, is to backup your AIDA64.INI settings before the issue, then when the issue happens and you go to AIDA64 Preferences to readjust the sensors, just push the OK button on the Preferences (not to rename the sensor item to your preference), and check what happens. Also backup the AIDA64.INI after doing that. Then rename the sensor item, and do another backup of the AIDA64.INI file. It would be very interesting to see those 3 states of the AIDA64.INI file, and it may just reveal the root cause of the issue.

    A quick update on this...

It seems to happen when I attach a VHD file and give it a volume say (V:\), the nvme status disappears. If I disconnect the VHD, then the nvme temp status re-appears in the lcd panel.

  10. Thank you for the dumps. It's odd, you cannot see anything strange in there. Can you please check if the information on the Computer / Sensor page changes too? Or the one displayed on the Storage / SMART page? Also, if you have space on your Windows Desktop, it may be a good experiment to check what happens if you put the AIDA64 OSD Panel there, with the SSD temperature as an OSD item.

I'll try but the more I think about this, the more I reckon it has something to do with renaming the sensor and the default sensor name overwriting/deleting what I entered. I think this because every time I look at the sensor list, the nvme temperature is always present so I assume aida64 is not losing visibility of it just doing something odd after I rename it. BTW, all other sensors that I rename don't exhibit this issue.

  11. Defo not a sleep issue since my VM is on 24hrs and all sleep states except monitor is disabled. Funny as I type, it just happened again. The nvme temp disappeared from my logitech LCD panel, i went back in to preferences, LCD and re-selected the temperature sensor from the list, renamed it and clicked 'apply' now it's back. Very strange. Could it be due to the renaming of the sensor? It first appears in the list as Samsung 950 Pro NVME but I always change it to M.2 SSD Temp: afterwards. 12. Hi

I have an odd issue with all versions of Aida64 up to the latest beta. I have a 950 pro nvme ssd and use aida64 to monitor the temperature.

On the face of it, this works fine, displays the correct temperature on the LCD panel etc. However, on completely random occasions, the line that displays the temp on my logitech LCD panel completely disappears and I have to go back in to the sensor preferences, choose the temperature sensor for the samsung nvme drive and click apply for it to show again. I am unable to reproduce the disappearing act so I'm not sure what's triggering it. The resolution despite being simple is annoying so curious whether it might be a bug?

    Any ideas?

  13. Thank you. The issue is caused by the non-working MSRs. In such scenario reliable CPU clock measurement is not possible.

non working MSRs as in KVM is not presenting the correct information to the Guest? When I was running vmware ESXi this was not an issue and displayed the correct clock measurement.
