SensorPanel Manager: Smart Sensor Replacement (NEW Feature)!!
Surjeet replied to Surjeet's topic in SensorPanel
Thank you. This would be AWESOME!! I support both points 1 & 2 - they strike the perfect balance between smart automation and user control. Huge thanks and appreciation to @Fiery for taking the time to brainstorm and shape these features with such care. It really means a lot to see our Requests heard and Reflected / Included in the updates. @BHSY @JariKoi @Loyd @COSTAJUNIOR Thank you all for your suggestions / feedback to make it happen!! You're making AIDA64 better and better for all of us. 🙏 -
SensorPanel Manager: Smart Sensor Replacement (NEW Feature)!!
Surjeet replied to Surjeet's topic in SensorPanel
❤️ ❤️ Truly Grateful 😍🙏 - Incredible Work 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Thank you so much for the incredibly FAST turnaround - this truly exceeded my EXPECTATIONS, and its IMPRESSIVE! Everything is working exactly as we discussed and agreed upon, and it looks absolutely AWESOME. Your attention to detail shines through 🙏 There’s just one minor thing I noticed: - For the first sensor in the image below, I swapped GPU Power with CPU Package - The replacement went flawlessly: the sensor updated correctly, min/max values stayed intact, and even the icon changed beautifully from GPU to CPU - just as expected - The only thing that didn’t update was the name - it still shows as “GPU” instead of reflecting the new sensor name “CPU Package” I hope we did not consider this name as a "Label" and I hope this is not at my end only!! Once again, thank you so much for this feature and it is incredible!! -

SensorPanel Manager: Smart Sensor Replacement (NEW Feature)!!
Surjeet replied to Surjeet's topic in SensorPanel
😍 First of all, Heartiest Thank you for checking and working on this new feature request 😍 Behaviour may vary depending on the user’s specific use case. However, if labels could automatically update (when used) while maintaining the same font style, that would be a fantastic improvement - both visually appealing and time-saving! We all are curious and excited to know regarding this: One of the most important aspects for users is whether the Minimum and Maximum values remain unchanged when a sensor item is replaced. For example, in a setup using 100 states (with 8 sensors), each sensor typically has unique Min/Max values. If these values persist and remain intact after replacing a sensor, it would be a huge benefit - eliminating the need to manually re-enter values. This makes the system far more user-friendly, especially for users who might not be familiar with the exact Min/Max configurations. -
SensorPanel Manager: Smart Sensor Replacement (NEW Feature)!!
Surjeet replied to Surjeet's topic in SensorPanel
Thank you @JariKoi, @Loyd and @BHSY Really appreciate your thoughts!! Lets ask Fiery if this request is possible as this will be another Game Changer if added! @Fiery, please let us know if this request makes any sense and is possible to be implemented! Look forward to your continued patronage as always!! -
Hi AIDA Team, AIDA64 does an excellent job of intelligently detecting available system sensors and grouping them into categories such as Temperature, Cooling Fans, and Voltage etc.: Building on this smart sensor grouping, I’d like to suggest a new feature for the SensorPanel Manager - a streamlined “Replace Sensor” option. This new feature in SensorPanel Manager where one can easily replace sensor items (if required and also helps when certain sensors do not show values and show N/A😞 Current Method: To replace a sensor (e.g., replacing a CPU Temperature sensor with a GPU or motherboard sensor), we have to: Select the sensor item Click “Modify” Manually browse and choose a replacement from the full list Proposed Feature: A new, more intuitive “Replace” function could work like this: Right-click on a sensor item in the SensorPanel A “Replace” option appears in the context menu Selecting “Replace” shows a refined list of compatible sensor options The list is filtered intelligently based on the current sensor category For example, if I’m replacing a CPU Temperature sensor, only Temperature sensors are shown. (if not possible, complete list populates) This would make the process faster, more user-friendly, and visually more appealing - leveraging AIDA’s existing smart grouping capabilities. @Fiery @BHSY @COSTAJUNIOR @JariKoi @Loyd : What you guys think and vote for this new approach? Looking forward to your thoughts!

For now, I am sticking to 100% display scale and keeping the images normally! However, resizing to the double resolution could be the future demand/requirements as I agree to Fiery that nowadays 4k monitors are normally with everyone ! Thank you for the explanation. I agree that bigger resolution will attract more size for the panel and further more saving time. For now, we may stick to 100% the way we are doing. However, we know what needs to be done if any requirement comes for higher resolution specs!!

Thank you for raising this. I did not test this but will do the soon One thing that I noticed was: In Scaling, we can upscale to 125%, 150%, 175% and 200%; however, no option to come back to original 100% in the menu. I think that option should be there! What you suggest?

fixed: Gauge Bug – State #0 Name Cut + Icon Changed (Latest Update)
Surjeet replied to COSTAJUNIOR's topic in Bug reports
Thank you @COSTAJUNIOR for bringing this up. I also faced the same issue. However, good to know that even with the Name-Cut, the functionality was not hampered. Custom gauges worked as per the images added. Thank you for addressing this and we will love to see how the workaround = popup menu is implemented!! Thank you once again! -

SensorPanel Manager: HEX color codes addition Request!
Surjeet replied to Surjeet's topic in SensorPanel
Thank you! Yes, you have the right point regarding Windows. Two things: 1. When I checked Windows Word ad Windows Paint, the Hex code was there: May be Sensor Panel Manager use other technique which is different from above! 2. When you say "unlocking the HEX color codes input by right-clicking on the colour boxes", did you mean that we can provide Hex code which will be then used as output? If we can provide HEX code by any mean to get the respective color, it will work. If that is not possible, nothing to worry ................we respect and understand!- 8 replies

Yes, add an image. I used jpg and I assume png should also work!
-
Yes, please do it in Sensor Panel Manager: Please add "Preview.jpg" that you want to see as thumbnail as the first item (top-most) in the sensor panel manager, hide it, export the SPZIP, and this preview image will show up perfectly when importing.
-
I just noticed the new feature - what an incredibly fast turnaround! I had only just taken a small nap, and when I woke up, it's already live. Truly impressive work! 😍 That said, we do have another request for your kind consideration. It seems we're getting a bit ambitious and GREEDY with our ideas day by day! 😄 Please review and let us know if this is doable and possible?

Hi AIDA Team, currently we only have RGB colour selection in the Sensor Panel manager where we can add numbers only: Would it be possible to add support for HEX color codes (e.g., #ff5733)? This could make the color selection process more intuitive and user-friendly. Additionally, if the "Add to Custom Colors" feature could be enhanced with a smarter algorithm - perhaps one that adds each new custom color to the list sequentially, making it easier to manage and reuse saved colors. Thank you for considering these suggestions!

I agree that will increase the size. However, at the same time, may we have option whether to include the screenshot process or not: 1. If selected yes, Preview.jpg screenshot to be taken and placed inside SPZIP 2. If selected No, screenshot process should not run and simply SPZIP file should be saved I tested both a and b : BOTH worked for me! For a this is I did: I added "Preview.jpg" as the first , top-most item in the sensor panel manager and hide it. After that I exported the SPZIP file and the preview file was seen when I imported this SPZIP file. Further, I made changes to the panel and again exported the SPZIP , overwrite the previous file (I did not make any changes to the preview file added earlier) and everything worked for me as earlier!
-
Thank you. Got the answer. Waiting for this feature to be implemented at the earliest !!
-
I also support this idea of showing a preview image. This will be a great feature! I just want to ask a question: Do we need to save the Preview image or will Sensor Panel Manager save the preview image inside SPZIP when saving/exporting?

The right-click approach is more robust and intuitive! I strongly support adding a right-click menu to select the pixel stride - it's cleaner and more user-friendly. Additionally, I also vote for showing the pixel stride menu/drop-down even on left-click, so users have flexible and consistent access to the setting.

Wow, I updated to the latest build and its working PERFECTLY!! You guys Rock!! Now as everything is working and all the great ideas are implemented, can we tweak this setting a bit. Can we add two sections (as lot of space is available): 1 section handles 1 px > 5 px > 10 px > 20 px like earlier And 2nd section handles 50 px > 100 px > 200 px like shown below This way we will have control over small and larger placements and this will also address the following concern raised by @Loyd Sorry for so many requests Please check and let us know if this request can be implemented!
