I have a different way of thinking about this, yes its frustrating when you see lcd screens for sale that also include panel files that have been uploaded here for free by someone that has spent a lot of time and effort creating them. However some people dont have the skill or ability to create their own so it atleast gives them a starting point. How many people have taken someone elses idea then taken it apart and created something else out of it, and then uploaded it as their own ?. I have also used wallpapers that someone else has uploaded and then created a panel of my own which is then uploaded on here, as long as you give recognition to the original creator i personally see no issue. I will always share what i create if asked but if you dont want your content to be used by others then be like exhumed and others on here and do commissioned work.

I use firefox as my main browser and use microsofts edge browser for the local host. To be fair its the only thing edge is good for.

I used the exact same file for my first rslcd format panel which was 3 screens on a 15 second rotation.

RemoteSensor it's like web server available on http://127.0.0.1 or http://localhost

RemoteSensor plugin support rslcd (Settings-LCD-RemoteSensor). This mode supports GIF but does not support gauges. btw you can open rslcd in Sensor Panel (choose all file types in open file dialog)

Ive attached the rslcd file if you wish to play around with it. The panel is 1480 * 320 but you can play around with the files. The smoke effect is the gif image, this was sent to me by another user of this forum xehak58867 and he gave a complete novice a couple of starting points. I then went onto ezgif.com and changed and gave it a green hue to match the AMD gif image. 357425215_2022-06-17AMD.rslcd

Latest rslcd format panel, decided i only wanted to see the most important temps to me. So from the left to right we have cpu, chipset, gpu hotspot and gpu. May put some bar graphs for useage but am undecided.

Have you installed the armoury crate utility software ?

If you go to display settings does it show as a second monitor by any chance ? You can adjust the orientation settings of the screen there.
-
I would assume that the panel is in rslcd format which allows you to use gif files. As for not getting answers for questions asked, i've asked for help from multiple posters on the forum but these people have their own lives so when answers arent immediate its not an issue. Patience is the key.

Im currently in the process of doing a new rslcd format panel but for the life of me can i find any decent backgrounds that i like. Can anyone point me to a site where i can get 1480*320 / 320*1480 wallpapers. unknown_2022_06.05-16.03_Trim.mp4

HI KC I really like what you've done with this panel. Is there any chance you could share and i can then adapt to my own requirement. Thanks

I have the exact same screen, theres a few panels ive done dotted on the site. Be warned though im not in the same league as some on this forum. Click on my profile and select " see their activity" and you will see the uploads.

Another panel only single page this time. Still needs a bit of tweaking. 1659145062_2022-05-01DIGV2HUD.rslcd

I've done it the other way round, used steam live wallpaper first then started on rslcd format. I agree it's a bit of an annoyance having to use the local host browser. The sensor panel format files are easier plus you have the option for it to start automatically on the panel.
