I'm on Windows 8 now and I've downloaded something called 8gadgetpack to add sidebar gadgets back to Windows 8. I have a copy of all the *.gadget files for all of the gadgets I used in Windows 7 EXCEPT for the one for AIDA64's gadget. Anyone know where I can get the *.gadget file for AIDA64's gadget? Fiery Posted January 1, 2013 Share Posted January 1, 2013 It is the file called AIDA_VSB.VSB that you can find in AIDA64 installation folder. Try to rename it to AIDA64.gadget and copy it to your gadgets folder, and see if it works that way. However, please note that AIDA64 itself will try to install the gadget as soon as you enable Desktop Gadget support in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Hardware Monitoring / Desktop Gadget.
