NuttsnBolts Posted February 25, 2024 Posted February 25, 2024 On my PC I have my main monitor and a sensor panel within my main screen and upgraded my monitor to a higher resolution Widescreen, ie: Previously 1920x1080 -> 3440x1440 & 800x480 for the Sensor Panel. Due to the pixel density of the screen and the how my new monitor is roughly 30% wider, anything Windows based has shrunk in size and is laid out fairly far away. So I decided to try out the Window's Display Scaling feature to boost the scaling from 100%->125%. What happened is that the details for the Sensor panel all got adjusted as well by that extra 25%, meaning that if you look at Preferences -> Sensor Panel -> Sensor Panel Size the previous 800x480 has auto adjusted to 1000x600, along with the location and settings for all the items within that Sensor Panel. The Sensor Panel display is now too big for the second screen. Attached image shows the additional 25% and how each of the elements have stretched beyond the background image. Quote

We've just rolled out the first beta build of the next-generation AIDA64 that fixes -- among many other things -- several issues related to how AIDA64 handles mixed DPI monitor setups: Quote
Benni231990 Posted Tuesday at 08:09 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:09 PM I Have also an Error with my Sensor Panel I have a little Full HD 8" 60hz monitor for My sensor Panel and my Main Screen is a 4k 240Hz Monitor and i created my own SensorPanel Screen in 1920x1080 but with the Update 7.99 and your Update from today 7.99.7803 my Sensor Panel is now 1280x720P and i cant change it even when i change it manuel in the Settings to 1920x1080 the Font and all still the same 1280x720P With the 7.99 and 7.99.7803 With 7.65.7427 Quote

Is it only the width and height of the SensorPanel? Or its layout fallen apart after upgrading to AIDA64 v7.99? Quote

Benni231990 Posted Tuesday at 08:19 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:19 PM No i dont use these settings all Stock and Regular When i downgrade to 7.65 the problem i Gone and the Sensor panel and layout works correct only when i upgrade to 7.99 i have the problem you see in the Screenshots Quote

Benni231990 Posted Tuesday at 08:34 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:34 PM Yes thats correct but even when i change to 150% on my secondary its still the same like the Screenshot only when i change the Resolution to 720P it goes big but the font and everything is wrong Quote

When you import the panel back into a 100% scaled monitor (let's say you set 100% scaling for both your displays), the old AIDA64 version will show your panel incorrectly too. I'm afraid after switching to the new AIDA64, you need to redesign your panel by multiplying everything (every X and Y coordinate and every item width and height) by 1.5 to get the correct layout back. Make sure to do that process with the new AIDA64 version while your SensorPanel is already moved to the secondary (full HD) display. We actually designed the new AIDA64 version to finally properly manage mixed DPI setups, but sadly there's a transition issue when the old SensorPanels may need redesigning in case they were designed with an over 100% scaling setting on the main monitor. Benni231990 Posted Tuesday at 08:50 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:50 PM ok But my Secondary Display is at 100% and i didnt change that only my Main Screen is at 150% Quote

Actually the old version worked incorrectly since it treated both your displays as if they were using 150% scaling. What we can do is to implement a facility that would do the 1.5x multiplication on all item positions and dimensions automatically for you. Would it help for you to get over this hump? 1 Quote

Benni231990 Posted Wednesday at 10:00 AM Posted Wednesday at 10:00 AM BIG BIG THANKS 😁 With 150% it works now Perfect Quote
