Amex72 Posted April 21 Posted April 21 It would be appropriate if someone who has the monitor that is detected by AIDA would publish a report so we can compare it with ours that are not detected in USB 1 Quote

It works with the following models: - Turing 2.1-inch (480x480 pixels) - Turing 3.5-inch (480x320 pixels) - Turing 5-inch (800x480 pixels) - Turing 7-inch (1024x600 pixels) - Turing 8.8-inch (1920x480 pixels) You can enable the LCD device from AIDA64 / Preferences / Hardware Monitoring / LCD / Turing. You can check it out in the latest AIDA64 beta build at: https://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta Please let us know if you find any difficulties enabling or using this new feature. Also let us know if you've got another kind of LCD device that is currently unsupported by AIDA64. Regards, Fiery @administrator @Fiery Still no revised version supporting current gen Turzx devices??🤨 Is the new gen architecture really so radically different? I would be happy to help test / Dev with your engineers, it is fundamentally Py libraries... unless you are communicating at a firmware level with the display's CPU, not sure if the very limited comport would take too kindly to that though Do you at least have an ETA on the release that supports Turzx current gen? Yes, the new generation uses a completely different, and a lot more tricky protocol. We're still waiting for our device to arrive. I'm afraid I cannot provide you with an ETA at this time. 3 Quote

Hello, really interested about getting AIDA premium to use with my Turing screen, any news about the new generation ? 1 Quote
AlexSP Posted Saturday at 09:52 PM Posted Saturday at 09:52 PM Hello I've succesfully managed to have the beta version take over the screen; however, I'm totally lost on the comments of changing a file extension. Is that to be able to bring a Turzx theme to AIDA? Thanks for the help, I think this is the starting question a lot of people have in terms of either bringing themes of building new themes. Quote
Loyd Posted Saturday at 10:18 PM Posted Saturday at 10:18 PM just change the .sensorpanel to tulcd if it is the correct size it will work most of the time Quote
DracoCW Posted Sunday at 12:34 PM Posted Sunday at 12:34 PM @AlexSP Do you have an older version or do you have the same version as all of us for whom it does not work? Can you check what info you get in the dump file? If it is the new version of the screen, how did you manage to use it? Can you tell us how you did it? Quote

Can you check what info you get in the dump file? If it is the new version of the screen, how did you manage to use it? Can you tell us how you did it? @DracoCW My screen works! I have the latest beta and I'm able to use the screen and define a template. My setup: WOWNOVA 8.8" Computer Temp Monitor (Dynamic Theme Supported), 1 Click 1 Cable to Get Started Quickly PC Temperature Display Sensor Panel IPS Mini Secondary Screen CPU RAM HDD Data FPS Monitor (White) I bought the screen on Amazon, removed the TURZX software and AIDA64 Extreme is able to take over. The screen is connected via USB-A to the USB-C interface My issue: Where my issue lies, is that whenever I'm setting the computer to sleep, the Turin screen will immediately wake my computer up. It'd be great if the development team added sleep specific setting in AIDA64 to deal with this. I've exhausted options at this point, there's no clear approach to turn off the screen when sleeping that I know of. Edited yesterday at 02:10 AM by AlexSP Removed a link to Amazon for the screen Quote

DracoCW Posted yesterday at 04:06 PM Posted yesterday at 04:06 PM I have tried the new beta version that is available to download. But now instead of the "Error: COM port not found" message I get the message "Error: LCD init failed". Quote

I have an AliExpress Turing/Turzx 8.8 screen sold by Electree Store and it works with the Turzx software and powers on as well without the software running but getting an "Error: LCD init failed" in 7.65.7415 beta Quote
