schrutic Posted March 13 Posted March 13 I have a PNY GeForce RTX 5080 16GB OC and only 2 of the 3 fans are detected under Cooling Fans. I assume this is just because this is a new product? Quote

schrutic Posted March 13 Author Posted March 13 @Fiery great question! GPU-Z only has 2 fans showing up. However, I just used Fan Control to turn them on individually and noticed that fan 1 is on it's own controller and fan 2 and 3 are both on fan 2's controller. So, nothing to see here, everything is working as designed. Thanks for the prompt response as always @Fiery! Quote

VintageOffice Posted March 30 Posted March 30 On the Asus RTX 50's (at least on my 5070Ti and 5080 OC TUF Gaming cards) there are also only two fan sensor readings. Fan #1 is the RPM sensor for the fan most close to the bracket. This fan is in sync with the right most fan, which doesn't have an RPM sensor reading. Fan #2 is the middle fan, that counter-rotates to the outer two fans. The middle fan also has an RPM sensor reading. So it's might be correct you only have two reading for three fans. Quote
