TylorN Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Hi, as title, below is how it looked like before the update (and how it should look like): After the most recent update (to v 8.00.8000), it now becomes as below. Can someone help me check what went wrong please? Thank you a lot. Quote

Edit your LCD layout (in AIDA64 / Preferences / Hardware Monitoring / LCD / LCD Items) and replace the incorrect degree character with the proper one. Quote

It's the correct one. It worked before. The preview shows correct character. Quote

It's Courier New font. I also tried to switch to some other fonts (Arial, Times New Roman, Default), and the issue persists. I tried it with Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, both on PC and on mobile (Android, iPad, Pi 4B). All of them are not able to render the unit correctly. Quote
Kevin Marchant Posted Monday at 03:21 PM Posted Monday at 03:21 PM I reported the same issue directly to support yesterday - haven't heard back yet. For me, since upgrading to 8.00.8000 it has broken the display of the (°) in "Sensor items" but NOT in "Simple Sensor Items" I normally use a Raspberry Pi with monitor to render the Remote Sensor web page from my main PC, but after upgrading to 8.0.0.8000 I first noticed the character mapping problem. I spent some time ensuring the Pi was using UTF8 with a Unicode font. But as TylorN mentioned, it doesn't render properly using a local Chrome browser on the main PC itself. I've rolled back to 7.70 and this resolves the issue. So the migration to Unicode in 8.00 (one of the main features) seems to have introduced this issue. 1 Quote

Let me know how it works. 1 Quote
Kevin Marchant Posted Tuesday at 03:30 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:30 PM In a word ... "Perfectly" again. That's fixed it for me both on local Chrome browser and on my remote Raspberry Pi display. Thanks for the quick fix! Quote
