Downloading and installing the new 64bit 8.0 release does not uninstall or migrate the old 32 bit version.

It does not import the LCD panel info, or the licence key and leaves the whole directory intact in program files (x86).

What files do i need to move to get my LCD back, and the license key?

Temporarily, I copied the entire old folder to the new directory, and ran an update but thats messy and leaves a lot of old unneeded files in the directory

You need to copy the following files over from the old folder to the new one:

  • AIDA64.BENCHRESULTS.HIS
  • AIDA64.BENCHRESULTS.INI
  • AIDA64.INI
  • AIDA64.MONDIAG.INI
  • AIDA64.SST.INI
  • PKEY.TXT

does this include the LCD layout?

Yes, both the SensorPanel layout and the LCD layout(s) are included in the AIDA64.INI file.  However, the corresponding images may also be located in the installation folder of AIDA64, under a sub-folder called SensorPanel or <yourLCDprotocol LCD>
