Sas27 Posted Friday at 03:13 PM Posted Friday at 03:13 PM Hi, I just wonder why AIDA does not show the temperature of SSD Controller? It shows only temperatures of memory chip and/or SSD PCB. On the other side, the controller temperature is normally a bit higher than memory module. Is that a possibility of future upgrade in new releases? Quote

Can you see the missing thermal reading using other tools like HD Sentinel or CrystalDiskInfo? Quote
Sas27 Posted Friday at 03:39 PM Author Posted Friday at 03:39 PM Yes, I have seen Controller temperatures on two SSDs: Samsung 990 Evo Plus and Silicon Power US75 using HWInfo tool. It shows three temperatures, instead of two ones in AIDA. I've monitored temperatures during CrystalDiskTest with both tools. AIDA showed only two the same temeratures while HWInfo showed three, one of which was much higher than two others. Especially Samsung, which is much "hotter" than SPCC. Obviously this is Controller temperature. Quote

Fiery Posted Sunday at 11:43 AM Posted Sunday at 11:43 AM AIDA64 doesn't show all 3 temperatures because -- as you can see -- two of them indicate the same reading all the time. So AIDA64 would pick the 2 temperatures out of the 3 that are not identical. Quote
