albgen
Hi All, is it possible to get or to understand the sata version? Thank you
Fiery
I'm not sure if you're looking for the capabilities of the SATA controller, or the capabilities of the SATA drives (HDD or SSD). You can check the capabilities of SATA drives on the Storage / ATA page. As for the SATA controller, it could be tricky, since many motherboards feature multiple SATA controllers, including a few integrated in the chipset, and another provided by external SATA controller chips. Please let me know what motherboard you've got, and I'll try to look it up for you. Regards, Fiery
albgen
Dear Fiery, thank you for the reply. Actually what i'm trying to understand is only the version of the SATA installed on my motherboard. For example i want to buy an ssd sata III and i want to be sure that my motherboard is SATA III. Regards, Evald
