vabchgent Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 I know the heatmaster 2 is old and not supported by the manafacturer any more but it does work and I do own one. Heres the problem - When I allow the heatmaster 2 to talk to aida 64. My fans spin up like the heatmaster board is losing connection to the system with Aida64 check box checked. Also I think Aida is freezing with the check box checked. Any way you guys can have a look at it and let me know if theres a fix. Thanks to your support this thing has a little life left in it. Till it goes bad and I grab a aquacomputer. Thanks in advance Quote
Fiery Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 We will check this out on our own HeatMaster 2 today. We haven't experienced any issues before, but maybe we haven't tried all combinations about fans. Let me know which connectors do you use, how many fans you've got. Thanks, Fiery Quote

Thanks, Fiery Fiery Thanks for getting back to me on this one . I ordered a aquacomputer 5 . But we can still work on this for the next guy - Basically 3 fans and one flow sensor/ temprature sensor. When I turn on heatmaster 2 in the prefrences every so often you will hear the fans spin up - On the heatmaster 2 that means you have lost connection to the board. I also have it attached to a samsung display and on the display it shows the water temprature as 197C and the fans on full blast then gradually goes back down to 28C and the fans come down as well. Its not the heatmaster causing it . The heatmaster 2 alone works - Its like the program on the computer/aida64 are competing for the usb bus or collision in the bus and the heatmaster board says no signal have to open up to keep the computer cool. Thanks Quote
Fiery Posted August 14, 2015 Posted August 14, 2015 Thank you for your reply. Meanwhile we've tested AIDA64 with a great number of combinations on how to utilize fan connections, and our HeatMaster 2 worked flawlessly. The fans never spun up and AIDA64 never became unresponsive. Maybe your HeatMaster 2 has some hardware issues or hardware incompatibility (with your motherboard / USB controller), or has an older firmware than ours. But since you've already retired your device in favor of the more capable Aquaero 5, I suppose we will have to wait for the next similar bug report from another user to see if this issue plagues other HeatMaster 2 devices as well. Thank you again for your attention to this issue. Quote
