Hi,

so i have an xeon cpu, 6 cores 12 logical processors, which are the real physical cores?

i see:

CPU

CPU1

CPU2

CPU3

CPU4

CPU5

CPU6

CPU7

CPU8

CPU9

CPU10

CPU11

CPU12

i was under the impression that 1-6 are cores... or is it 1,3,5,7,9,11 and the logical/threads the even numbers?

also, for CPU utilization and CPU Temp, what is the value of CPU (without a number) is that an average or something?

thanks.

It depends on what kind of operating system you're running. You can check the assignment of real and virtual cores on the bottom of the Motherboard / CPU page.

CPU utilization means the average CPU utilization. CPU temperature is measured by the motherboard sensor chip, and it is usually an external CPU package temperature.

Fiery
