Dav'
Hi, I recently noticed that my sensor panel don't update each second as I set in preferences. Fact is this problem occurs even if my CPU is under 5% with no drives or network load. For testing purpose I removed every sensors except time and cpu usage but update frequency stays around 2 seconds. Setting update frequency to 100ms makes refresh to have 1s speed spikes but refresh tends to go back to 2s. Any idea what's causing this ? Regards. Fiery
It is usually caused by one of the sensor modules taking too long to update the values. Please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Sensor Debug --> Sensor Profiling Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic, or attach the results as a TXT file to your post. You may need to enable status bar in AIDA64 / main menu / View first. Thanks, Fiery

I'll try to find a solution with aquacomputer guys. By your side, do you think it's possible and/or a good idea to make AIDA not waiting for sensors to refresh at set frequency and make an interpolation of known values ? Regards. Dav'
Here's AquaComputer's answer: Quote Hello David, at the moment it is not possible to change the interval. We have fixed the rate internally for performance reasons. kind regards Sven Hanisch Seems we can't fix aquaero sensor's delay atm... Note that aquasuite refreshes every second flawlessly. Maybe this software reads sensors in a way you could copy for AIDA to refresh every second ? Regards
Fiery
Thank you for the data. Reading all the registers from Aquaero devices is a slow process. You can lower the update frequency in AIDA64 to 100 milliseconds, but reading all registers from your Aquaero device would still take over 800 milliseconds. So the lowest update rate you can achieve would still be over 1 second. We cannot fix that from our side, we simply have to live with slow USB protocols. Slipknot79
Hello, just digging deep in this thread. 5 years later, has there any solution been found to solve this issue? Maybe there are improvements in USB protocols? Some users, including me, still have problems with aquaero and high latency around 1000ms. In my computer 2 devices cause this problem (QUADRO and farbwerk, each adding ca. 500ms). Besides I dont have the aquaero device. Or maybe theres a workaround been found? The same goes for HWinfo. For some reason, MSI Afterburner/RTSS doesnt have any issues with the update latency. Working fine and smooth.
PSY-BORG
Here the same problem with a too high Aquaero update latency. With AC Aquaero activated, only a slow update frequency of 2-3 frames per second is possible with AIDA64. Aquacomputer is sure that this is definitely an AIDA64 issue. ------[ Sensor Profiling (Init) ]------ SensorInfo : 732.786 ms GPUSensorInfo : 19.779 ms GPU01 / NV Driver : 0.265 ms GPU01 / NV Fan PWM: 0.771 ms HDD : 0.112 ms SPD : 0.001 ms AMB : 0.001 ms DIMMTS : 1.108 ms Asus EPU2 : 0.000 ms Asus EPU1 : 0.000 ms nVIDIA SPP : 0.000 ms nVIDIA MCP : 0.000 ms Intel GMCH : 0.000 ms Bixby : 0.236 ms Intel PCH : 0.000 ms Intel SNB : 0.001 ms Zambezi : 0.000 ms Kaveri : 0.000 ms Zen : 0.016 ms AMD SVI2 : 0.000 ms MTC0303 : 0.000 ms Smart Battery : 0.000 ms HID UPS : 0.000 ms TVALZ : 0.000 ms T-Balancer : 0.000 ms Koolance TMS200 : 0.000 ms Asetek LC : 0.000 ms Grid+ V2 : 0.000 ms Grid+ V3 : 0.000 ms Smart Dev V2 : 0.000 ms Kraken X-2 : 0.000 ms Riing+ : 0.000 ms CLCP : 0.000 ms Hydro Pt : 0.000 ms LM78 : 4.805 ms TT DPS : 0.000 ms Digifanless : 0.000 ms Corsair RMi : 0.000 ms Corsair AXi : 117.975 ms Corsair Link : 0.000 ms ARC : 0.000 ms HM2 : 0.000 ms Odin : 0.000 ms Aquaero : 565.457 ms ------[ Sensor Profiling (Last) ]------ SensorInfo : 1007.083 ms GPUSensorInfo : 20.249 ms GPU01 / NV Driver : 0.303 ms GPU01 / NV Fan PWM: 0.855 ms HDD : 0.120 ms SPD : 0.002 ms AMB : 0.001 ms DIMMTS : 1.113 ms Asus EPU2 : 0.000 ms Asus EPU1 : 0.000 ms nVIDIA SPP : 0.000 ms nVIDIA MCP : 0.000 ms Intel GMCH : 0.000 ms Bixby : 0.216 ms Intel PCH : 0.000 ms Intel SNB : 0.001 ms Zambezi : 0.000 ms Kaveri : 0.000 ms Zen : 0.017 ms AMD SVI2 : 0.000 ms MTC0303 : 0.000 ms Smart Battery : 0.000 ms HID UPS : 0.000 ms TVALZ : 0.000 ms T-Balancer : 0.000 ms Koolance TMS200 : 0.000 ms Asetek LC : 0.000 ms Grid+ V2 : 0.000 ms Grid+ V3 : 0.000 ms Smart Dev V2 : 0.000 ms Kraken X-2 : 0.000 ms Riing+ : 0.000 ms CLCP : 0.000 ms Hydro Pt : 0.000 ms LM78 : 4.734 ms TT DPS : 0.000 ms Digifanless : 0.000 ms Corsair RMi : 0.000 ms Corsair AXi : 131.577 ms Corsair Link : 0.000 ms ARC : 0.000 ms HM2 : 0.000 ms Odin : 0.000 ms Aquaero : 822.450 ms
PSY-BORG
However, since this issue seems to affect only a few people, FinalWire is probably not interested in finding a solution.
