nazrix
Hi, I'm using AIDA64 version 1.70.1400 and am unable to see any sensor readings on a OCZ Vertex 3 120GB SSD. It's the primary hard disk, single partition. Another HDD, a Western Digital WD5000AAKS displays fine. This version (1.70) is supposed to have added support for this SSD. It shows up under Computer > Summary > Storage though.
Fiery
AFAIK OCZ Vertex 3 drives don't have a working temperature sensing logic. As for the rest of the SMART attributes, you can see them on the Storage / SMART page of AIDA64. Regards, Fiery
nazrix
Thank you for your reply, I guess I'll just have to live with that Do you happen to know if this can be remedied by a firmware upgrade or driver update? Please excuse my ignorance, I know nothing of hardware
Fiery
It could be a controller limitation, a firmware issue, or a simple lack of hardware implementation (missing temperature diode). Only OCZ knows the definitive answer to that
nazrix
Thank you taking the time to reply to me. I'm a happy camper Now I'll go bug OCZ...
