Not necesserily. Several devices use a lower resolution while running most apps and only switch to full resolution (ie. the highest supported resolution) when watching a video or photos or playing a game. Truth be told, they are usually UHD (4K, 2160p) TVs that use full-HD (1080p) resolution while running such apps like AIDA64. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
