fixed: Mainboard MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk - Missing Values

Hello,

I just built up a new PC with the MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk.

Comparing with HWINFO I am missing some information in AIDA :

1. Fans

I do not see the fan from Sys_Fan1.

Secondly, would it be possible to change the descriptions as they are more clear in HWINFO in my opinion.

2. Mainboard name and RAM

The mainboard name is not shown.

I am uncertain regarding the RAM names DIMM3 and DIMM4. Should this reflect the rows ? My RAM's are in row 2 and 4.

Regards

Rainer

About the sensor readings and motherboard model identification issue, make sure to upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme available at:

https://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta

After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade.

Let me know how it works.

As for DIMM3 and DIMM4, they relate to the 3rd and 4th DIMM sockets of your motherboard.  I don't see an issue there.

I updated to the last beta :

Mainboard and fans are shown now properly, so this is solved. Thanks.

RAM, see the picture from the mainboard

The RAM's are in socket 2 and 4 but AIDA is showing in the overview DIMM3 and 4.

Another topic regarding the LCD panel creation (Odospace) :

Can you please explain why there are two fans for the GPU in the LCD elements.

What is the difference ?

Some motherboards may wire the DIMM slots incorrectly to the SMBus.  That's not a problem, since it's only a matter of how you call a certain DIMM slot.

As for GPU fans, first is the GPU RPM (fan rotational speed), and the second one is the fan duty cycle setting (a percentage value).  Duty cycle dictates how fast the fan is supposed to be spinning, but it's not a measured or observed value.  Even with a 100% duty cycle the fan could be stopped if it's e.g. clogged up or there's a fan malfunction.
