origando Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 I've been using AIDA64 for years. Automatic start with windowsa is activated. This worked fine by now. But now it doesn't any more. I have not changed anything in my OS. What is wrong? Quote
Fiery Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 Using Win7's Task Scheduler please check if you have the scheduled task for AIDA64 properly configured and enabled. Let me know what can you find out. Thanks, Fiery Quote

origando Posted April 28, 2012 Author Posted April 28, 2012 Yes, I have activated the option "Load AIDA64 at Windows Startup" Quote
Fiery Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 No, I meant to ask you to start Win7's Task Scheduler application and verify if AIDA64's entry is there among other tasks. Please let me know if you need instructions on how to do that. Quote

Squall Leonhart Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Open services.msc and set Task Scheduler to automatic Quote
origando Posted April 29, 2012 Author Posted April 29, 2012 Open services.msc and set Task Scheduler to automatic Task Scheduler is already set automatc. Nevertheless the system continues to tell me "unable to open Task Scheduler" Quote
Fiery Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 You need to have Task Scheduler fully operational. AIDA64 uses the Windows API for Task Scheduler to create a scheduled task that launches AIDA64 at Windows boot. Quote

My search in various forums did not help. Perhaps I have to reinstall an older backup image. Quote
