Minor usage question about the bar display

If I make a bar with 25 width and 5 height, does adding a frame place the frame inside or outside those dimensions?

And is the frame 1 pixel wide?

Inside, 1 pixel wide. You can easily check those facts if you configure a 3 pixel height bar with frame enabled ;) ;)
