  1. Ok a few things on this. To set these, there are 2 environments. USER, Machine. To set them from cmd line, there is a program, setx setx A64IMP3 "Value" /M The above set variable 3 to the "Value". The /M means to add to machine, or system, environment. This is needed for AIDA64 Now for the bug: AIDA64 only reads the values on startup. So my idea of setting these on a schedule from a remote program would not work. AIDA64 would need to read/update the variables in the same loop as it reads the parameters for display update.
  2. Ok, I got it to work, thank you I also assumed the variables would show up in the section 'Static labels' with the other variable-type items. Now that I found it, I will play with adding it to my programs, and let AIDA64 display it!
  3. >No, apparently not true For test runs we've had to use System Properties / Environment Variables to set the new AIDA64 specific environment variables. System properties under where? Can you show how you set them? Example?
  4. I am running the cmd window and AIDA64 as administrator. I set the env variable like this: C:\Windows\System32>set A64IMP1=%Systemroot% C:\Windows\System32>echo %A64IMP1% C:\WINDOWS C:\Windows\System32> AIDA64/config/environment, doesn't show it. I even tried restarting AIDA64 Since they are both 'run as administrator', they would both be under the same environment, true??
  5. ok, i have tried setting a64imp1 to %Systemroot% #set %a64imp1%=%systemroot% #echo %a64imp1% C:/Windows The variable doesn't show up anywhere I can find it
  6. hey.... I do not see where you can select these items? I looked in sensor item, or lables, expecting them in the labels pulldown, but not there How about allowing ALL windows env variables, like %systemroot%, etc?
  7. Thats too bad, Corsairlink is a mess. In win10, cant even get it to autostart AIDA64 reads the pump/fan speeds until Corsairlink starts, on the h110gtx, then it can't I am about to change my H110iGTX for a GT, which is made my a diff manufacturer and is supposed to work so much better I will let you know
  8. Not Corsair Link, the commander mini unit itself. Do you support reading its values?
  9. I have pitched my H110iGTX using asetek hardware, and just got a Corsair H110iGT unit using Coolit harware, which has much smarter firmware including showing fan/pump speeds even if Corsairlink is running While at it, I bought a commander mini. Does AIDA64 work with this hardware? I think I can actually plug extra temp sensors into it as well as the H110GT unit. Then both units plug into usb headers.
  10. I have a samsung 87h 45 feet away in my tv room, so I can see process activity. The unit also has an nmediapc lcd 2 line panel, which you do support in the front of the machine. Do you support multiple panels?
  11. yes it is, but I have a samsung picture frame, so I use that. The gadget is alot smaller, with just the few items I need on it. The win8 8.1 and 10 gadet layer is here: http://winaero.com/blog/desktop-gadgets-and-sidebar-for-windows-10/
  12. Your gadgets works so well on win7. There is a free gadget 'layer' for win8,8.1 and 10, but your code does not recognize it. So although I can select items for the gadget, it never shows up on win 10 The thirdparty layer is called sidebar. It would be cool to support it. It cannot be much different than the old API, since all old gadgets work on it.
  13. Corsair Link is a mess, go to their forum to see the carnage!
  14. A small api, like display an environment variable in windows, so other programs can set an environment variable and aida64 can display it Or add variables with the command to run to get the output to put in the variable With either of these, we can use label to get special variable from other progs.
  15. Update - I have rebooted about 7 times, and now it never shows the problem I described. Also, the Corsair pump/fan problem I described is a firmware bug in the H110iGTX unit. The older, more expensive to make unit, H110GT, doesnt have the bug. FYI, the bug causes the cooler to NOT be linked to any alarm temps except the water temp, which is too slow to use to raise temp fans, so their answer was to set the temp fans to a temp way above idle, old unit idled at 800, step 1 was 1890, step 2 is 2980, so older unit is quiet, newer unit is idling at 1890 I just ordered the older 'new' unit, which should solve all the problems I have seen.
  16. Here is mine, work in progress....shows what I need. BTW, the large numbers in lower right are cpu temp and d/l kb/s. I can read those numbers from across the room. Done on a Samsung SPF-87H 800x480
  17. ok, I'll try to answer: 1 - windows 10 pro. It did just do a sr2, I think 2 - I get uac warning, no dim screen 3 - Windows restart 4 - 3 out of 10 5 - yes auto startup 6 - installed using the exe and the latest stable released version. I only installed last week. Also noticed my Corsair 110i cooler fans are listed correctly until program corsairlink starts, then they go to 0.
  18. I reboot and some items I have used do not load Basically, I have a Gigabyte ga-x99-ud4p motherboard and the follwing are 'iffy' to load: Mother board name, sometimes, loads as 'Gigabyte will fill in' memory temp pch pch temerature Fan#1, a chassis fan With the exception of the first one, the remainder do not even show up in the selection list I am running on a Samsung 87h with your driver, and a few times, one reboot, it doesn't even start, with the screen going into 'select a mode' screen, instead of just coming up. And finally, what does 'package' mean? Like 'cpu package'? My cpu1-6 are around 39, but cpu package is 46 Thanks, cool system!!!!!
  19. Star Trek....PLEASE SHARE CONFIG FILE!!!!!!!
  20. This is extra macros and a lcd display! For $65!!!! Is this programmable for AIDA64 use?
