tistou77
Hello I found a bug, the CPU is to 4500Mhz (45x100)there is indicated 4500mhz But this is indicated 4200mhz (benchmark) CM: Asus Rampage IV Extreme, tested with bios 4401, 4403 CPU: 3930K Thanks
Fiery
During benchmarks the CPU may or may not be able to use its maximum Turbo frequency. I guess in your case the CPU is only able to switch up to 4200 MHz during the benchmarks.
tistou77
Since the 43xx bios of the Rampage IV Extreme, is indicated x42After the boot, I run the benchmark is "x45", I close benchmark and I re run the benchmark, it's "x42" It's same with Aida64 CPUID
Fiery
The current multiplier the CPU is running at may be difficult to measure ot detect. For example, at idle it may be running at 45x, under partial load (like running a game) it may be working at 42x, while under full load it may switch down to 40x or so because of power (TDP) limits. Turbo Boost is a very complicated technology in modern Intel processors BTW, between BIOS updates such settings like max. Turbo Boost multiplier or power limits may change. tistou77
It seems to be a bug related to the bios 43xxx, 44xx
