Hello,

I'm running aida64 and i see this into motherboard, chipset for my P5K Premium:

DDR2-667, DDR2-800, DDR3-800, DDR3-1066, DDR3-1333 SDRAM

It states DDR3, But my mb is a DDR2 slot only, what does this mean? Does it mean that the chipset can handle DDR3 logically, but not physically?

Into motherboard section i got this:

CPU Sockets/Slots    1 LGA775
Expansion Slots    3 PCI, 2 PCI-E x1, 2 PCI-E x16
RAM Slots    4 DDR2 DIMM
Integrated Devices    Audio, Dual Gigabit LAN, IEEE-1394
Form Factor    ATX
Motherboard Size    240 mm x 300 mm
Motherboard Chipset    P35
Extra Features    Asus Intelligence, JumperFree, Q-Fan 2, Stepless Freq Selection, SATA-II, RAID

Exactly ;)  The chipset page shows the capabilities of the chipset.  It depends on the actual motherboard installation whether you've got DDR2 slots, DDR3 slots, or both.
