To anyone that has tried both 8.8 and 9.2 inch turing screens, can you please advise the differences?

Is the 9.2 the new replacement for the 8.8?

8.8 resolution is 1920 x 480 while 9.2 is 1920 x 462, which is lower even though it's a bigger display..

How about colors? Which looks the best?

Thanks!

Installed it but still nothing happens. Its 8" Turzx V2.

ID:

USB\VID_1CBE&PID_0080&REV_0000

USB\VID_1CBE&PID_0080

Thank you!  We've received our 8-inch sample, and unfortunately the communication protocol has changed compared to previous Turing (Turzx) screens.  So we need a bit more time to analyze the new protocol and implement support for it.

anyone using this on Intel Core ultra series platform on Asus Z890 series motherboard, if so, how do you like it?  any bugs, other issues?

absolutely no problem - Asus z890 maximus apex + intel core ultra 7 265K + RTX 4090

so in this video, this installer mount the sensor panel in the same width of those cooling fan, assuming they are either 120 or 140mm.  And that's a neat trick.  My question is: when we buy these sensor panel, is there a way to tell if they are giving me 120 or 140 width at the back?

P.S. unrelated questions:

1) what's the most popular brand of horizontal sensor panel that you guys choose?  Is it the one on this topic: Turzx

2) are they all 1 yr. warranty or is there some other brand that really stand out and give you 2 yr. or longer?

Děkuji. To je ale náhoda. Taky mám Apex a to je procesor, který si chci koupit.

For me it's the best MB for both intel and amd, and the 265K is on par with the 285k, it just has a few less E-cores.

@Fiery

Hi, after all, these are information screens, and some of us use them on our desktops for instant updates. I had asked this before but didn’t get a reply: for example, showing the weather forecast of our city. Since all PCs are connected to the internet, it would be easy to pull this data and display it on the screen.

Things like exchange rates, live values of selected cryptocurrencies, social media follower counts, etc. would make it much more appealing. I believe this would help reach many more users.

Will there be any work related to displaying different types of information on the screen? After all, not everyone uses it just to monitor detailed PC stats. If the feature I’m suggesting gets implemented, I’m sure the user base will grow significantly.

We may come up with such enhancements to the AIDA64 LCD and SensorPanel modules, but those are not in our short-term plans right now.

Support for the 8-inch Turing display is coming soon, in a few days, in the next AIDA64 beta update ;)

@grAvox @Majk450  We've fixed the issues about the Turing 8-inch screen in the following new AIDA64 beta update:

Unfortunately it doesn't work 100%, I don't know where the problem is.

Unfortunately that's normal.  Turing screens have such firmware that can only handle the transfer of image frames in a single pass for less complex layouts.  Once the rendered PNG image file becomes too large (over 1 MegaByte), the frame can only be transferred in 2 passes using 2 half frames.  That's why it looks like if half of the screen was flashing on your device.  The solution is either switching to a different brand screen (e.g. BeadaPanel), or using a less complex layout that can be rendered into a smaller image.  If you wanna try the latter, then try to first remove the background, that alone could help.

Thanks for the answer with a smaller background (under 1mb) it doesn't blink anymore, I was surprised that the same layout in the sensorpanel worked without a problem and after switching the 8” monitor to an lcd monitor it started blinking like this.

So we all know that Turzx is just a Chinese brand, and I see a lot of other "brand" cloning the Turzx brand, has anyone buy one?  As from the Turzx website, their 8.8 is US$111.  But at ebay, a "clone version of it , is $76

https://www.ebay.com/itm/166257719782?var=465863567132&autorefresh=true

has anyone buy the clone brand of Turzx?  and does it work for you

That particular screen has a HDMI port, so you can use the SensorPanel module of AIDA64 with it, and you don't have to rely on the Turing LCD module.
