Honza KuchaÅ™
Hello, I want to buy AIDA64 Bussiness Edition to monitor status of HDDs on server, but it does not show SMART informations wich I need. We will buy it for workstations, there it is working very well, also with RAID (Intel Matrix Storage), but not on server that has Intel S5520HC motherboard, 5 Western Digital HDDs and software RAID enabled drive controller (Intel MegaSR). (I checked "RAID SMART support" in settings) Attached two screenshots and AIDA64 hardware report. Is there any chance to make it woking? And also it would be fine to get working motherboard temperatures and fan speeds. :-) (but it is not very important) Thank you very much, Jan KuchaÅ™ Report.zip
Fiery
Have you tried to enable RAID SMART support in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability? After altering that option make sure to restart AIDA64. If that option is enabled, and you still don't get SMART values for your RAID member drives, then please do the following: 1) Right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Disk Debug --> RAID Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic. 2) Also right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Disk Debug --> Disk Controllers Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic. Using those outputs we can check whether any existing AIDA64 RAID controller methods would be applicable by the RAID controller of your motherboard. Thanks, Fiery

Squall Leonhart
This is your chipset i assume http://edc.intel.com/Platforms/Xeon-5600-5500/ Consider updating to IRST 10.
Honza KuchaÅ™
Sorry, my mabo is not compatible with IRST. It uses Intel Embeded Server RAID Technology II.
Fiery
Thank you for the dumps. To our knowledge MegaSR controllers have such RAID drivers that don't expose SMART attributes readout or ATA passthru interface Do you have any tools (either manufacturer supplied or 3rd party) that can read SMART attributes for your RAID member drives?
