Items in "Destop Properties"

In "Desktop Properties", I see:

      Font Resolution                                   96 dpi
      Pixel Width / Height                              36 / 36
      Pixel Diagonal                                    51

What does these numbers mean? I only know that my display has pixel pitch 0.27 mm, but width, height and diagonal? And "Font Resolution" is the same value as "Pixel Density" in Monitor Properties.

Font Resolution is LOGPIXELSY from:

Pixel Width is ASPECTX from the same call. Pixel Height is ASPECTY, and Pixel Diagonal is ASPECTXY.

LOGPIXELSY = Number of pixels per logical inch along the screen height.

But what is "logical inch"?

ASPECTX = Relative width of a device pixel used for line drawing.

Relative to what? And what is line drawing? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Box-drawing_character ?

I'd like to understand what it means to create meaningful translation.

I'm afraid I don't know the answers.  Some bits and pieces of Windows are quite mysterious, even to us   If you're unsure about the translation, then either leave the terms in English, or translate them directly, word by word.
