MAA Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 Hello, "FPU VP8" benchmark is very strange and do not scale on multi-core systems. May be replace it to a more common HEVC encoding? Quote
Fiery Posted July 26, 2017 Posted July 26, 2017 HEVC would require licensing, so it's out of question for us. We've checked VP9, but it isn't suitable for integration into our existing line of benchmarks. AV1 may well become something we can replace VP8 with, but it's not finalized yet. Quote
MAA Posted Monday at 04:23 PM Author Posted Monday at 04:23 PM For now I suggest using uvg266 https://github.com/ultravideo/uvg266 unlike x265, uvg266 scales very well to the number of cores: Quote
