- Version I'm using: 6.32.5600 (build date 14-12-2020), AIDA64 Extreme.

Problem description:

When I open AIDA64, it will giving me a BSOD. Usually it happens after approx. 10 - 15 minutes. I'm 100% sure it is only happening when AIDA64 is running.

Windows event viewer screenshot and BSOD message.

Hopefully you can help me out.

Make sure to upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme available at:

https://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta

After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade.

Let me know if it helps.

Thank you, I tried the beta version. After rebooting I still got the BSOD :( . To make sure it's consistent, I rebooted again and I got the same BSOD.

More suggestions, or info you want from me? I have the following system in case you would need it:

Windows 10 Pro (20H2)

Gigabyte Z390 Designare

Fractal Design Define R6 USB-C TG

Be quiet! Dark Power PRO 11 850W

Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB DDR4

Intel Core i7 9700K

Cooler Master ML360R RGB

RX 570 Sapphire

Crucial MX500, 1TB SSD

Cheers!

Joost

@Fiery Sorry, I think I didn't mention you, so perhaps you didn't see my answer. Do you have more suggestions to get rid of the BSOD? This is not usable at the moment.

Thanks

I'm afraid we have no further ideas on where to look about the BSoD :(

i tried everything, still no luck.

This is what the dump says, any idea what I can do with it?

I'm afraid that's not that useful since it refers to a module (PSHED.DLL) that is not used by AIDA64 at all.  I have no idea how that module can be related to this issue or AIDA64.

It seems to be fixed now, running AIDA64 (latest beta 6.32.5650) all day now and haven't yet had a BSOD.

I did the following which seems to be the solver of this problem:

Quote

Open Start, type: CMD
Right click CMD
Click Run as administrator

Type in at the prompt OR Copy and Paste these one at a time : (Hit enter after each)

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Also run the System File Checker utility:
Open Start, type: CMD
Right click CMD
Click Run as administrator

At the Command Prompt, type: sfc /SCANNOW
This will check for any integrity violations

Restart your system

Man, it just happened again...

I did a reinstall of Windows 10, but it didn't fixed the issue. I was browsing using Firefox (86.0.1 (64-bit)) so perhaps it's related to that? I don't know anymore.

Aid64 and amd drivers since 2020 have not played along well.

Both side don't really know what wrong prob amd drivers.

Ben better in the latest beta of aid64 and amd 12.2.1 drivers.

If you go look in amd radeon software in notification you prob see a reset mark. That a symptom.

I'm like you, many freeze up with hard reboot, in game, web browsing etc. With rx 480, rx 580 and rx 6900 xt.

Wen aid64 off no more problem.

Thanks.

I don’t get it why the developers of AIDA are not able to figure this out as it seems to be a problem that occurs with more people.

@Fiery says it doesn’t has anything to do with that DLL, except the fact is that only AIDA is causing this BSOD. All other stress tests I did incl cpu checks and mem checks, everything passes. So I’m sure AIDA is causing this.

I really want the remote monitoring of my pc to work, but without a BSOD.
