Error in saving SensorPanel settings

6 posts in this topic

I am not sure when this started, but when I tried to export/save my sensor panel I get the following error: –

I/O error 6

When I repeat the export process it indicates it has already saved the sensor panel. Unfortunately the information it saves does not re-create the panel. I have had to reconstruct my panel a few times because of this. Incidentally the files that are being saved are only 43 kB in size when my sensor panel were approximately 120 kB.

Two questions – what files do I have to save within my system to ensure that I can protect my existing panels. What am I doing wrong during the export process?

Thank you

1) Does your Windows user have administrator privileges?

2) Do you have one or more images (pictures) on your SensorPanel?

3) Do you use Windows 7 SP1 64-bit?

4) Which AIDA64 version+build do you use?

Thanks,

Fiery

1) I do have administrative privileges.

2) I do have more than one image of my sensor panel (under different names of course)

3) I use Windows 7 SP1 64-bit

4) I update practically instantly, presently running version 2.3 0.1947 Beta

Thanks for your usual prompt response.

Hi,

I must revive this thread. I have those problems too. When I try to export my sensor panel settings I get an "I/O 6" error.

1-> I do have administrative privileges

2-> I use custom gauges (I always duplicate them -> Is this a problem?)

3-> I use Win10 64Bit

4-> My current version is 5.92.4300

Thanks, Christian

When does the mentioned error message pops up?  Before you select the file where you want to export (save) your settings into, or after that?  If after, then please let me know where you want to save the file, and whether you've tried to use different paths with the same result.

It's not a problem to duplicate custom gauges.
