Ramses Posted December 19, 2012 Share Posted December 19, 2012 Hi, will you guys plan to include sensors from Corsair AXi series PSUs like Power input/Output, PSU temp, Fan Speed etc ? I also noticed that the AIO watercooling kit H100i is monitoring the coolant temperature. I know these are not dependant from the motherboard but they are read from the Corsair Link dongle via an USB 2.0 header, so I though maybe you could take a look at it Would be awesome ! Fiery Posted December 22, 2012 Share Posted December 22, 2012 We've already discussed Corsair Link matters with our friends at Corsair, but their latest status on it is that they don't want to open up the Corsair Link specifications to let 3rd party developers read values from Corsair Link capable devices Let's hope they will change their mind soon. metroul Posted January 30, 2013 Share Posted January 30, 2013 Yeah, I have asked about that on a couple of threads. It is funny that they wont let it out. They have a couple of parts that I really want to buy, but cant see spending the money if I can't use them with AIDA . The power supply 1200i the new one has a lot functionality, but I cant see spending the money on it if I cant integrate it into my sensor panel and especially my LCD panel. As it is now, it doesnt add any value to what I have now. The corsair link software and gear would be great if it integrated to AIDA. That would be something I would go for also. for my lighting and fan control, but having aida for the feed back on my LCD is a must have. also the AIO water coolers. I use the Antec 920 right now, it has a USB connection to the mainboard and AIda usually works great sensing those points, but I really want to get a 240 or 280 radiator type of cooling system but the Corsair units not working well with AIDA makes theirs a no go I may go for the NZXT X40 or X60... They use the same Asetek software so I would imagine they will work fine also. Sorry to hijack your thread, but it irks me that Corsair has a stance like this. Fiery Posted December 30, 2015 Share Posted December 30, 2015 We've implemented support for Corsair Link sensor devices (including Link Commander, Commander Mini, H80, H80i, H100, H100i, H100i GT, H110i, H110i GT, and various Corsair Link capable PSU models) in the latest AIDA64 Extreme beta update available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Please note that since Corsair's own Corsair Link software is not synchronized with any other monitoring software, it is very important to make sure it is closed, and also that its background service is not running. It's best if you completely uninstall the Corsair Link software. Due to the special precautions required to use the new Corsair Link feature of AIDA64, it is disabled by default. You have to go to AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability, and enable (check) Corsair Link sensor support to activate the new feature. Let us know how it works on your system. If you find any issues, please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Sensor Debug --> Corsair Link Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic, or attach the results as a TXT file to your post. You may need to enable status bar in AIDA64 / main menu / View first. Fiery Posted January 27, 2016 Share Posted January 27, 2016 Based on those dumps, it should work fine. Are you sure you don't get readings on the Computer / Sensor page? Note that PSU sensor readings may replace (overwrite) certain motherboard sensor readings, like +5V or +12V voltages. You can also try right-clicking on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> HWMon Modules --> Corsair AXi / HXi / RMi and see how the Sensor page readout changes. Try to disable the PSU sensor module, see how the Sensor page content changes, and then try to enable it again, and see what changes then. I was expecting to see a specific "psu" entry and all the data I get in the Corsair software, maybe it's not all available (e.g. fan rpm?) and maybe some stuff is computed from Corsair link software (power efficiency,...)? However, PSU fan will only appear there when the fan is spinning. Power efficiency is computed using a proprietary formula, and it's not available in AIDA64. No problem at all AXi PSUs provide the following readings in AIDA64: - 3.3V, 5V, +12V, -12V, PSU Input voltages - 3.3V, 5V, +12V currents - 3.3V, 5V, +12V, PSU power draws - PSU1, PSU2, PSU3 temperatures - PSU fan (only shown on the Sensor page when the fan is spinning) CPU Package temperature is provided by the CPU itself.
