kirtangl Posted Tuesday at 07:29 AM Posted Tuesday at 07:29 AM Fiery, I finally received my replacement unit (Still have timeout issues, I would love to see if anyone else has this issue but that's a topic for elsewhere). I bought / renewed my license and updated/DL the beta, I have not updated in so long, I swear this runs so much cleaner than the version I was running first of all, about a 1-2% CPU drop But as for the VU dials, not only does it work, and the colour shifting seems pretty decent etc, but it also somewhat solved my timeout issue, since I can set the update to ever 1-2 seconds, rather then every 50ms that I was using, it does limit the timeouts to every few minutes rather than a few times a minute. Anyhow, back on topic, I am wondering, so as for now, the default is do allow you to set the dial, the icon, text etc, I assume, if I was to use my own background image, I would just disable all of these, but I cant add an image etc, (This isnt a big deal, I just had a set of backgrounds I created that I like, with my own icons etc that I spent a while making work in 1-bit color grading :D) Also, this is more of a question for the background colours, the default is 0, 25, 50, 75, 100, I assume if I wanted to just have white from 0-50, and then have it shift gradually from white to orange, etc, that I can set the second number to 50, and this does not affect the scale? or is that all tied in? Thanks again mate, looks beautiful, is so rescores friendly, and I am thrilled that I can now have all the gauges / sensor panels in one place! Quote

Background image support is possible, we just need to unlock it and squeeze it to some place in the UI As for the background LED colour shift, there's no gradual shift between colour steps. So if you configure white for 0-50 and orange for 51-100, it will be white all the way up to 50, and switch from white to orange at 51. Quote

Cheers mate, yeah I think the amount of colour spots is just enough for me, I did white (Warm white, or as close as you can with RGB) and than have it go-to Yellow, Orange / Red once it gets to my thresholds, which is perfect! I tested all 6 gauges also, if it helps, I have attached an image, I love the aesthetic, and it works so flawlessly. Only suggestion I would have would be to pull the gauge name from the API (And maybe sort by name in the dropdown), as it was a little hard to tell what gauge is what when setting up 6, but honestly nothing too extreme, and once they are setup once, they have the "CPU" etc name tag which makes updating easy Quote
