@Fiery

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned in the past, but can we have the option to change the number format so that a 0 appears in front of the sensor like the one from Excel? The screenshot below is an example of GPU utilization showing a 3-digit sensor with a 0 in front. Not just for utilization, but also for power, clock speed, RPM, time, dates, FPS, refresh rate, NIC, memory, etc.

Example: 0555 MHz, 022.52 W, 000003.2 kb/s, 038°C, 07:26:13 AM, 00:00, 012.1 GB, 01419 MB, etc.

If this option can be implemented, I hope it can be added under the Modify Item for Sensor Item, Simple Sensor Item, and Gauge, so that we don't have to enable it from Hardware Monitoring every time we install the program.

Thank you.

I support this and will like the custom formatting like Excel if that's possible wherein we can control number of 0s in either direction! (Front or back)

This should be an optional feature (if selected should override the original numbers) and the existing working should remain as it is. I hope it makes sense!

Hi @Fiery,

Additional Request:

I'm aware that this has been brought up a few times in the past, but is it still possible to have the option to add units like °C, %, RPM, V, W, etc., show on the custom sensor gauge reading?

Thank you.

I fully support these suggestions.

Being able to format values with leading zeros, like in Excel, would make sensor readings much more consistent — especially in fixed-layout designs. It would be great if this option worked across various sensors such as usage, clock, power, temperature, time, network, memory, and others.

Ideally, this should be configurable directly within the Modify Item menu, without relying on manual adjustments in Hardware Monitoring.

I also believe it’s essential to allow units like °C, %, RPM, W, V, etc. to be displayed directly on custom sensors — this would make the data clearer and more complete.

These are simple improvements, but they would make a significant difference in the customization and visual quality of the skins. 👊😉

I support this and if we can have separate font style, color & size for these units will be cherry on the cake.

Lets say I have RPM displayed at 25 Font with GeForce Font in Blue Color

then I may have an option  to display "RPM" unit font to be smaller or any font, lets say Calbiri 10 Red

I wish if this can be accomplished and accommodated!

Why I am saying this: You take any example from great creators here and they use Sensor value to be shown without unit and then they use text with different font , different size and colour to display the unit. Its an additional step we all follow!

What you all suggest and think?

We currently have no plans to extend customizations to such direction.

Fortunately unit can be added as a static label to any custom gauges, so it's something that you can achieve with using an additional sensor item.  While we recognize that it is more convenient to manage a single sensor item instead of a pair, we currently wanna focus on such SensorPanel related features and improvements that introduce such new possibilities that were previously not available, not even with workarounds like using a pair of items instead of a single one.
