Michael O
Hi I don't see any sensors in latest aida64 for Kraken X52 Asetek AIO? I installed latest CAM v3 software and still nothing is shown in the sensor list. Is the pump supported?
Fiery
You need to have Asetek LC sensor support enabled in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability. Make sure to restart AIDA64 after altering that option. If it still doesn't work, then try to close CAM Software. We've already asked NZXT to implement the necessary synchronization mutexes to avoid collisions between CAM Software and AIDA64 (as well as other monitoring software like HWiNFO, HWMonitor, SIV, etc), but I'm not sure whether they're done with the implementation yet. Michael O
I checked that the sensor was enabled and it is. Maybe they haven't got around to avoiding the collisions yet? Is there a debug i can send for you to take a look?

I don't know if there is anyone else using the new Kraken x52/x62 series AIOs with CAM v3 and has it working in Aida64???
Fiery
I'm confused... Do you have X51 or X52? In your opening post you've mentioned X51, but in your latest post you mention X52/X62

Fiery
Then please close CAM Software, start AIDA64, and right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> System Debug --> USB Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic, or attach the results as a TXT file to your post. You may need to enable status bar in AIDA64 / main menu / View first. Thanks, Fiery

Fiery
Thank you. It seems the USB communication protocol used by your Kraken X52 device is completely different to the one used by previous Kraken coolers that are supported by AIDA64. So it's normal that AIDA64 doesn't support Kraken X52 We will need to do more research -- and possibly get a Kraken X52 -- to find out how to handle the new Kraken protocol. I'll let you know in this topic once we have an update to this issue.

Fiery
We've implemented support for Kraken X52 in the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme available at: https://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Let me know how it works
Michael O
Wow that was quick, unfortunately, it still doesn't work, no sensors are listed and asetek is checked in stability... Michael O
BTW, I'm using CAM 3.2.04 and it isn't running...
Michael O
OK, I noticed that the kraken drivers SiUSBXp.dll etc were not in system32/drivers so i put them there. Now the driver version appears in the usb dumb log. However, still no sensors available :-( ------[ SiUSBXp Devices ]------ SiUSBXp.dll Path = C:\Program Files (x86)\NZXT\CAM\SiUSBXp.dll DLL Version = 3.5.0.0 Driver Version = 3.3.0.
Fiery
Thank you for your feedback. Your virtual machine has no USB device that would correspond to your Kraken X52 device. It's best to avoid running AIDA64 -- especially for hardware monitoring and benchmarking purposes -- in a virtualized environment. We cannot guarantee that any of the low-level hardware features of AIDA64 would work properly in virtual machines.

After a bit of jiggery-pokery, I have Aida64 detecting it now :-) Great work as usual. p.s. even though I am running a KVM and VMWARE virtualised env, there has never been an issue running aida64, long may it continue... Thanks for the feedback, I'm glad it works now. AIDA64 may work 100% fine under a virtual machine. But when it doesn't, since it's a virtualized environment, it's very tough for us to hunt down hardware-related issues.
