I was instructed to use AIDA64 by the tech support at Kaspersky and specifically instructed to send the report to my email address at hotmail and then send them the report after receiving it in my inbox.

After choosing Send report to email the AIDA64 application will only search for Bluetooth connections to other devices and sends NOTHING to my correct email address Inbox or Junk mail box and as such I cannot comply with the request from the tech support team that is trying to use the report to help me.

You need to have a configured email account in order to send emails, or enter the email sending options (like SMTP Server, etc) manually.  Maybe it'd be best to simply save the generated report into a TXT or HTML file, and send that file to Kaspersky using whatever email client or web email service you've got.

Kaspersky Internet Security for Android lists both my G-mail and Hotmail email addresses in the app settings and I choose my Hotmail address from the two shown along with the option to "Add email address"

WHY does EVERYTHING have to be so non-intuitive?

This app IS SUPPOSED TO BE FOR PEOPLE WHO NEED HELP!

I should think it would automatically access my listed addresses from my phone database and tell me to select one for use with this app, but that is OBVIOUSLY NOT THE CASE!!!

If it is any clue that I have no clue what any of what your reply means; I don't even have a Facebook Account.

I have no clue what an SMTP Server is.

I have no clue how to save the generated report as a .TXT file or even WHERE the .txt file would be saved in my phone and likewise how to save it as a HTML file or where it too would be saved. And if I have no clue where they would be saved then how can I possibly find them in order to even attempt to send them?

Kaspersky tech support told me:

1) Go to the Google Play Store. Find, download and install AIDA64. DONE

2) Tap the three little dots in the upper right corner of the screen. DONE

3) Tap Send Report In E-mail. DONE (It immediately opens the "Nearby Share" window and starts looking for nearby devices and no report is sent)

4) I tap the Settings Gear icon in the upper right of the "Nearby Share" window and it lists the following (WORD FOR WORD):

Add or verify your phone number

On (setting control in blue bar) is set to ON

Account & device (written in blue)

The correct name associated with my Hotmail email address (omitted here for privacy)

My correct Hotmail email address (omitted here for privacy)

Data

Data may be used for small files

(charges may apply)

(important note - i in a circle) Nearby Share requires Bluetooth and Location to be on. To Share files, a WiFi hotspot might be turned on temporarily. Your device visibility controls who can share with you while your screen is unlocked.

Am I missing something here? WHY won't it send an email when the freaking NON-INTUITIVE APP has my correct Hotmail email address LISTED in the settings above?

HOW is this possibly NOT configured correctly?

My phone is not synced to my PC. I do not want my phone synced to my PC.

I DO NOT use Social Media to any extent considered as normal.

I HATE SMARTPHONES WITH A PASSION!!!

I do not use my smartphone online for anything and as such have VERY limited data each month and am totally fed up with my phone's browser being hijacked to plaster BS ads in my face whenever I'm simply trying to use my phone as a phone or send or receive text messages which is why I'm in contact with Kaspersky and they tell me to install a freaking app (AIDA64) that SPAMS me with even more BS advertisements!

If I tap the report "I've seen this ad already" WHY DOES THE DAMNED AD REAPPEAR WITHIN MINUTES? I'M SICK OF ALL THIS GOD-DAMNED PUSHY-ASS MARKETING!

Just one more reason why I HATE SMARTPHONES WITH A PASSION!!!

I'm sorry, I thought you meant that you cannot send emails using our AIDA64 for Windows PCs software.  You weren't clear about you're having problems with AIDA64 for Android, our mobile app :) Anyway, reading through your posts I suppose the main issue is that you have no email account configured on your Android device.  You cannot submit an AIDA64 report to Kaspersky without having an email account configured.

Let me be perfectly clear!

I AM REFERRING TO THE AIDA64 APP FOR MY ANDROID PHONE!!!

It will not send an email to MY Hotmail email address WHICH IS LISTED CORRECTLY when I go to Settings from the "Nearby Share" window ON THE ANDROID PHONE which it opens immediately ON THE PHONE when I tap "Send Report In E-mail"!

So please ANSWER the question I asked since you state you read everything I submitted when I quoted and replied to your post stating my email address needed to be configured on the phone for use with AIDA64 FOR ANDROID!

WHAT to look for, WHERE to look for it, WHAT to tap, What EXACT SEQUENCE to do everything in to FULLY FINISH setting up your AIDA64 FOR ANDROID so I CAN send an email since your app FAILS to set these NECESSARY thing up on its own!

I hate trying to use forums because it takes FOREVER to try and get anything resolved, and all you are doing is reinforcing my hatred for them, but thank you for replying.

I am dealing with Kasperky via my PC pertaining to my PHONE browser hijacking BECAUSE I DO NOT USE MY PHONE ONLINE FOR ANYTHING!!! PERIOD!!!

I have been using my 16Mp digital camera to take pictures of my phone screen to send them to Kaspersky BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER TAKEN A SCREENSHOT WITH MY PHONE

THAT is a huge hint that I don't use them for anywhere near what they are capable of. It's a phone! I use it as a phone and for texting on occasion... PERIOD!

Setting up your email account is not related to AIDA64 at all.  We never ask or force anyone to send us an email via AIDA64 for Android.  If Kaspersky wants to use our app to help their technical support, they should be responsible to lead you through the whole process.

BTW, I'd appreciate it if you could dial down the arrogance and stop shouting (all-caps).

You stated that I needed to configure my email address for use with the AIDA64 app but for some inexplicable reason, you constantly fail to provide the necessary instructions for how to do that. Is it any wonder that I'm getting ticked off at your apparent refusal to help and resort to all caps since you seem to keep missing the point of my using your forum.

And your childish complaint about my complaints being written in all caps (which make no more or less noise than all lower case) is pointless because you still ignore them and is all the more reason why I hate forums and the attitude of people who only put down those who are asking for help by going to the damned forums in the first place.

My email account IS set up!!! I never stated I needed help setting up any email account!

I have a Hotmail account! I have a G-mail account! I have a Yahoo account!

What I stated in the title of this thread is that AIDA64 fails to send report to email and you tell me AIDA64 needs to be configured for my email address and AGAIN you treat me like dirt and ignore the reported problem..

So again if you would get off your high horse...

HOW do I use your non-intuitive AIDA64 app FOR ANDROID to configure my E-mail address since you "seem to know everything , but understand NOTHING!!!

My apologies if you are offended, but you have yet to do anything for me regarding this matter for me to have any confidence in your capabilities.

Kaspersky IS trying to help, but there is a huge problem when their instructions don't match your AIDA64 for Android app menu and a further problem when your app will not send any email when I select "Send Report In E-mail" from your Android app menu.

This makes no sense "3. Share menu with come up."

The following cannot be found anywhere in your app menus to my knowledge "4. Click on the "copy" option" and as such cannot be performed by me.

Ths is an exerpt from the email from Kaspersky. Is it any wonder I turn to you for help and only am becoming more frustrated?

Greetings,

My name is Albert. Sorry to hear you're having this issue, let me rectify this matter.

We understand you are having issues submitting the AIDA report to us and have put together some steps to assist.

To have a closer look, could you please follow some steps for us?

1. Open Aida 64
2. Click on the 3 dots on the top right
3. Share menu with come up.
4. Click on the "copy" option
5. Open the Kaspersky Technical Support email we sent.
6. Click reply all
7. Paste the report in the email.
8. Click send to submit the report to us.

We await to hear from you to assist further.

How many times must I ask you HOW to configure my email account for AIDA64 before you finally understand and justify the reason for this forum and the reason I am becoming totally upset at your lack of being forthcoming with the information needed so I can move on with my life.

I was very clear! I posted this in the Android Section of your forum. I asked HOW? when you stated I needed to configure my email address for use by the AIDA64 app, and you have yet to reply with those instructions but only want to complain about anything and everything you can find to complain about.

So I ask you in all honesty... Were you offended because my all caps HOW implied you were being obtuse? Just how arrogant is anyone to perceive you to be when anybody can easily infer you knew exactly why I couldn't use AIDA64 for Android to "Send Report In E-mail"  and yet DELIBERATELY WITHHELD THE NEEDED INFORMATION TO RESOLVE MY ISSUE? Sorry about the caps! I want to be certain everybody notices them. If you were a more professional administrator, you would have simply provided the needed information to compensate for the shortcomings of the program which according to your additional subtitle of AIDA64 Developer, you had part to do with instead of taking it so personally and simply point me to your section on forum etiquette.

Just so you don't feel blindsided or think you can simply delete this thread and cover your tracks;; I've activated my Nvidia recording capability for desktop and scrolled through the entirety of this thread and uploaded the recording to YouTube and have passed the following information on to FinalWire Corporate and the Webmaster.

I may not know much about smartphones, nor care much for, or follow much of Social Media; but that's not my problem and neither is this... It's yours!

Please answer one question. How did you ever acquire an excellent rating as an Administrator? From everything anyone can see in this post, you are totally worthless. You provided not one piece of information to help no matter how many times you identified the cause of the problem and no matter how many times I requested the instructions in response to your identified source of my problems with your useless AIDA64 app for Android and misconstrued my provided information at least three times. I have gained no confidence in your capabilities, no confidence in your non intuitive app which you helped develop, and no confidence in your integrity and sense of responsibility because you stated I needed to go to Kaspersky for the information I need when it is your program that is screwing up and not providing the menu selections as requested in the instructions provided by Kaspersky and it is your AIDA64 app that fails to execute the selected menu actions which do match the instructions as provided by Kaspersky when they are selected, and it is your useless app that fails to set up or provide email configuration set up instructions during installation so your worthless app can actually do something it is needed to to do as requested.

If that is not a perfect display of blatant arrogance; I don't know what is Mr Do-Nothing, Understand Nothing Administrator/Developer Hypocrite. If it were in my power, you would be fired.

   I have searched all over the internet by Googling Configuring email address for use by AIDA64 for Android app in a multitude of grammatical arrangements and have checked every site in the results of those searches and found not one set of instructions for configuring my email address for use with the AIDA64 for Android phone app! Why are there no instructions to be found in the entirety of the web while you plainly state here that I need to configure my email address for use by the app?

Have you been lying to me all this time? Is that why you initially thought I meant the app for Windows PC?  ... because there is no email configuration capability for the Android phone app version?

I came to this forum because the AIDA64 app you helped develop for Android doesn't function as it is supposed to and asked for assistance in getting it to work as everything within the menu selections of the app indicate it should. I did not come here to put up with you copping a freaking attitude and taking it out on me because you seem to be pissed off that I  pointed out that the  app which you helped develop is a piece of useless garbage as far as I'm concerned; because it obviously doesn't function as intended, or I wouldn't be here at these forums... And if you functioned as any RESPONSIBLE, Administrator should have from the start of this thread, you wouldn't see even one tenth of these complaints.  You only have yourself to blame for how bad this thread makes you appear.

Kaspersky has given up on your useless app and is seeking other avenues to fulfill our current needs. You have a fantastic way of ruining public opinion about FinalWire's product  line - not just AIDA64 for Android... ANYTHING carrying their Corporate name!
