Any plans to support Thermalright TROFEO VISION 9.16 LCD?
Fiery replied to Schakal's topic in General Discussion
We've implemented support for the device, but for some unknown reason the protocol seems too unreliable to handle. We'll keep trying more, but at this time it's quite hard to fathom why the device acts out when AIDA64 tries to communicate with it... -
Fiery started following No info , Which AIDA64 license I need? and 10-bit color

AIDA64 Extreme is perfectly suitable and appropriate for your needs and situation.

Thank you!

1) In theory, no, you wouldn't need to install any software. However, from here I cannot tell you why you have those unrecognized USB devices in your system. 2) The LCD protocols shown are those where the presence (connection) of the display device cannot be detected via classic methods. So we need to show them always in order to give users a chance to enable those protocols when they own a display device. 3) You can right-click on one of the LCD tabs (e.g. Crystalfontz) --> Show All. That way all interfaces will be visible, but you will still not be able to use the Turing module simply because it would require a Turing USB device to be present in the system. In which case -- when the device is present -- the LCD tab corresponding to the Turing interface is properly shown.

Yes, that's a different screen, it's not Turing/Turzx at all. It is called Fuldho and unfortunately it is not supported by AIDA64.
-
No, AIDA64 uses 8-bit color channels (so 24-bit RGB) all across the board.
-
Thank you! You seem to have 2 unrecognized USB devices connected. That may mean that your computer is unable to communicate reliably with your display device. Try to connect it to a different USB port and/or try to use a different USB cable.

Thank you for your feedback. Please note that ever since Android 7.0 (for whatever reason) Google decided to block apps from accessing several system files that were previously readable. That includes the files apps would need to show thermal sensor readings. Battery temperature reading is still available fortunately.

Unfortunately there's multiple variants of what seems to be the same Turing/Turzx screen, and not every one of them is supported by AIDA64. We can check if your screen is supported if you could send us a dump: in AIDA64 please press Ctrl+D --> System Debug --> USB Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic, or attach the results as a TXT file to your post. Thanks, Fiery

Thank you! If you could kindly also include the timing parameters and native resolution of those displays, we could add them with more details.

fixed: Razer SwitchBlade LCD with AIDA64 v7.99 (Razer DeathStalker Ultimate)
Fiery replied to The Mac's topic in Bug reports
Sadly since there's no 64-bit SDK DLL supplied by Razer for your keyboard, there's no perfect solution. You can either stick to AIDA64 v7.70 (latest 32-bit version) or use limited functionality with AIDA64 v8.xx (64-bit versions). By moving to the new 64-bit native binary at AIDA64 v8.00 release, we did our best to retain compatibility with as many old hardware as possible. Unfortunately we couldn't solve all issues that came up in relation to the 32-bit to 64-bit transition. -
Are you using AIDA64 v8.20 (latest version) ?

fixed: Razer SwitchBlade LCD with AIDA64 v7.99 (Razer DeathStalker Ultimate)
Fiery replied to The Mac's topic in Bug reports
Yes, as long as they are different AIDA64 editions. So for example you can use AIDA64 Extreme and AIDA64 Engineer in the same time. But since only one of them would be able to communicate with the AIDA64 kernel driver, you wouldn't be able to use both AIDA64 instances for hardware monitoring. -
1) AIDA64 v8.xx hides all LCD protocols that have no corresponding device connected to the computer. This is because the number of protocols became too large to handle and sort out. You can still do a right-click --> Show All on the LCD tabs to make all LCD protocol pages appear. 2) I'm afraid we are not aware of any external displays that would be 14.5" and would not act as an external monitor. Your best bet is to connect your device as a monitor and use the SensorPanel facility of AIDA64 with it.

I'm sorry, but we do not deal with such displays that can be used as a secondary monitor. Theyt already work with SensorPanel.
