This helps a lot when you're not sure about e.g. what size of a gauge you'd wanna use as your SensorPanel layout evolves. Also, it helps to support high-DPI monitors. Background image support is simply just a checkbox that you can tick to make sure the image you choose will always be resized to the actual dimensions of your SensorPanel. This also comes in handy for high-DPI monitors.

In the meantime, if anyone is familiar with the process, please feel free to share your insights. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Its a kind of hidden feature: Right click on the Export button on SensorPanel Manager and select SPZIP. As per Admins, they will make this feature more and more public and even default in the upcoming versions. This WORKED!!
Loyd
why would we want to save in the SPZIP format? What is to be gained?

The only observation I have is that the file size was reduced: the original .sensorpanel file was 21 MB, but after saving it as SPZIP, the size decreased to 10 MB.
Sensor Moderators COSTAJUNIOR Posted December 15 Sensor Moderators Share Posted December 15 I found the new SPZIP option extremely useful, especially since I noticed it significantly reduces file sizes. However, I have a suggestion: this option is currently hidden. @Fiery could you make it more visible in the next version to make it easier for everyone to access? File size is 50% smaller, and it's much easier to observe the input files since it's simply a ZIP archive that now includes all input files of the SensorPanel layout. JariKoi
I would have asked if it is possible to get one old feature back. If I make a panel and add a sensor (custom gauge) to panel and upload images to sensor. However, if I want to change sensor images to a different size or change color, I won't see change without closing entire program and reopening it. Old one stays in some cache and doesn't update until I close entire program and reopen it. Really annoying. Previously, you could change on the fly and see the change immediately and didn't have to close entire program and then reopen it. Or would it be possible to get some kind of "update panel" button in the program? I'm using the latest beta. @Fiery @Mice007 I'm putting this same question in two threads. We've implemented a folder watch trick to update cached images whenever they change. This will help to ease editing and on-the-fly changes to your SensorPanel layout. Make sure to upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme available at: https://www.aida64.com/downloads/latesta64xebeta Make sure to leave the Cache Image checkbox checked (enabled). If it works out for both images and custom gauge states, we will remove the Cache Image option.

I tried looking for it earlier, but couldn't find it. And thank you if this now works normally again like before. I'll try it as soon as I can.
