dirnola Posted May 7, 2011 Posted May 7, 2011 Attentively we look pictures: v1.6 - Tags "Driver Updates" & "BIOS Updates" aren't present; v1.7 - Tags are. http://www.aida64.com/product/aida64-extreme-edition/screen-shots On pictures of tags isn't present... Question, please: tags "Driver Updates" & "BIOS Updates" in a toolbar should be or not? Quote
Fiery Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 On the toolbar the buttons for Driver Updates and BIOS Updates are only visible in trial mode, or when you're using an illegal (pirate) license. Regards, Fiery Quote
IceMan Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 its "funny" you get 2 extra help buttons if you use an pirated version Quote
Fiery Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 its "funny" you get 2 extra help buttons if you use an pirated version Those buttons promote eSupport services, and not our services or our products. And the links are also accessible from various other pages in AIDA64 in both legal and illegal copies of AIDA64. Quote

Fiery Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 thx for info hope you understand my previous posting as an "joke" hope so You didn't put a smiley there, so I wasn't entirely sure how you meant it So I felt it was best to clarify the logic behind the visibility of the BIOS & driver updates toolbar buttons. artemisrael Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Hi all on this forum! Please help in the issue with updating the BIOS. How to upgrade the BIOS, and how it works in this program? Quote
Fiery Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Hi all on this forum! Please help in the issue with updating the BIOS. How to upgrade the BIOS, and how it works in this program? AIDA64 doesn't specifically perform driver updates or BIOS updates, it only offers you links to motherboard makers' websites where you can download the drivers or BIOS updates. And it also offers links to eSupport automatized driver update and BIOS update facilities at: BIOS Updates: http://aida64.com/bios-updates Driver Updates: http://aida64.com/driver-updates Quote
TimesUP Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 Bitdefender Total Secuity 2013 indicates "Driver Agent" is bad for your computer's health!!! So bad, in fact, it quaratined it!!!! (The "Web Scan" to be exact) Quote
Fiery Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Bitdefender Total Secuity 2013 indicates "Driver Agent" is bad for your computer's health!!! So bad, in fact, it quaratined it!!!! (The "Web Scan" to be exact) I'm pretty sure that's just a false alarm. Many security software tend to get too sensitive these days. We've notified eSupport about this issue though, so they will look into it and contact BitDefender to have Total Security 2013 fixed up. Quote
Fernando Gregoire Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I always prefer to check oficial manufacturers websites, so I look with AIDA64 for hardware models and, in some cases where I don't know where download the drivers because the websites are complicated, the Driver Download field. Quote
Squall Leonhart Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 too bad official websites tend to offer drivers that are so out of date they corrupt your hdd's after a service pack (no joke) Quote
