Attentively we look pictures:

v1.6 - Tags "Driver Updates" & "BIOS Updates" aren't present;

v1.7 - Tags are.

Question, please: tags "Driver Updates" & "BIOS Updates" in a toolbar should be or not?

On the toolbar the buttons for Driver Updates and BIOS Updates are only visible in trial mode, or when you're using an illegal (pirate) license.

AIDA64 doesn't specifically perform driver updates or BIOS updates, it only offers you links to motherboard makers' websites where you can download the drivers or BIOS updates.  And it also offers links to eSupport automatized driver update and BIOS update facilities at:

I'm pretty sure that's just a false alarm.  Many security software tend to get too sensitive these days.  We've notified eSupport about this issue though, so they will look into it and contact BitDefender to have Total Security 2013 fixed up.

I always prefer to check oficial manufacturers websites, so I look with AIDA64 for hardware models and, in some cases where I don't know where download the drivers because the websites are complicated, the Driver Download field.

too bad official websites tend to offer drivers that are so out of date they corrupt your hdd's after a service pack (no joke)
