tistou77
Hello, With the Intel drivers RSTe (X79) AIDA64 does not read correctly the temperature of SSD/HDD (stuck at 25°C) With Crystal Disk Info, this is the right temperature (see screen) Thanks
Fiery
Please let us know which version of Intel RSTe Drivers do you have installed, and what is your storage configuration? (AHCI mode or RAID mode? Any RAID arrays defined?) Thanks, Fiery
tistou77
then, it's RSTe 3.1.0.1085 and my storage configuration is AHCI mode Thanks Fiery
Fiery
Thank you. Please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Disk Debug --> RAID Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic. Thanks, Fiery
tistou77
Fiery, I put the Raid Dump in attachment (too long to post) Thanks Fiery
Fiery
Thanks If you don't have a RAID array defined, then please try to disable the option RAID member enumeration in AIDA64 Preferences / Stability. You need to restart AIDA64 after altering that option.
tistou77
I disabled this option, without success, and I enabled "Smart Array Support" for testing, without success Thanks
Fiery
Please copy-paste or attach both a Disk Debug / ATA Dump and a Disk Debug / SMART Dump in both these states: - State #1 is RAID member enumeration option enabled + RAID SMART support option enabled - State #2 is RAID member enumeration option disabled+ RAID SMART support option disabled Please don't forget to restart AIDA64 after altering those options in the Preferences
tistou77
I copy these two lines, in the "Debug Dump" to ATA Dump and Smart Dump? Thanks Fiery
Fiery
What I means is: first please enable both mentioned options, restart AIDA64, and then create an ATA Dump, and then create a SMART dump. Then, disable the two mentioned options, restart AIDA64, and then create an ATA Dump, and then create a SMART dump.

Fiery
Thank you for the tests. We'll fix that in the next AIDA64 beta update.

Squall Leonhart
Thank you for the tests. We'll fix that in the next AIDA64 beta update. It should not require fixing 5. Missing disk, SMART and drive temperature information on Intel RST 11.5 drivers.Description: Using Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST) driver v11.5 or Enterprise RST driver will probably cause loss of disk information including SMART and temperature. This is a bug in the Intel RST driver v11.5 and Intel fixed this problem in version 11.5.0.1153 of the RST driver and Enterprise RST driver v3.2. Workaround: Update the RST driver to v11.5.0.1153 (or eRST to v3.2) at least. 3.2 is not out just yet, but so far 11.5.0.1153beta tests have been positive
Fiery
There was a slight issue in the SPTI temperature measurement part of AIDA64 that we've fixed. Of course installing the latest RST or RSTe driver is always recommended, since according to the information we've received from Intel, they are working very hard in the past few months to fix and improve their RST/RSTe drivers. Let's hope RST 11.6 WHQL and RSTe 3.2 WHQL will finally eliminate all revealed issues
Squall Leonhart
Ah, something that wouldn't cause a problem for everyone then? you're on the ball this week Fiery, i've never had a faster response xD i just hope intel have fixed their uninstall script, the previous version of 11.5 installed the iastorf (Filter) as a lowerfilter and failed to remove it on uninstall leading to fun times getting windows to work if you delete the file before removing the lowerfilter value
Fiery
Ah, something that wouldn't cause a problem for everyone then? It's quite difficult to explain what was wrong, but hopefully the fixed beta will work properly with both RSTe v3.1 and RSTe v3.2 you're on the ball this week Fiery, i've never had a faster response xD Thank you, we're pushing hard to fix the reported issues before the next AIDA64 stable release is out

tistou77
Hi Fiery With the latest beta, I did not have any info on the temperature of the disk (even after reboot) must, in the preferences/Stability, check the option "Smart Array Support" and it's good Default check for future betas or clarify And also, nothing important, there is no "ATA" before the names of the disks (see screen in the first post and that there) it's better for me that there is not "ATA" thank you Fiery
Fiery
I'm sorry, I forgot to ask you to enable the options "RAID member enumeration" and "RAID SMART support" in the Preferences So that's how it's supposed to provide the best results on your configuration.
