calla Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Hello, i just found something strange in the Summary window of AIDA64 extreme edition. It shows 4 video cards... I have just ONE video card... Is this a bug? How can i fix it? Thank you Quote
Squall Leonhart Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 No its not a bug, an adapter is displayed for each dvi/display/hdmi port on the card Quote
Arctucas Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 Interesting, I have two cards, each with two DL-DVI and an HDMI, but I only see two Video Adapters listed. Perhaps it is just newer cards that do this? Quote
Squall Leonhart Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 the only likely explanation i can come up with is that when run in SLI, the 460 would only mirror the contents of the adapter output on each card and only display one instance of each port. Though i have 2 displays connected to my 275, so the appearance of 4 adapters on 600 series cards may be specific to kepler. Quote
ChiefZeke Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 Have two each Radeon HD 6970's connected in CrossFireX and at the same place; Computer > Summary AIDA64 2.50.2025 beta shows four (4 ) video adapters, one 3D Accelerator, and two monitors Quote
Fiery Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 It is video driver dependent. Some video drivers show one logical video adapter for every available display outputs. Some other drivers show one logical video adapter per connected outputs. Quote

That appears to be it, when I disable SLi in nVIDIA Control Panel, four adapters appear. Quote
