  1. What kind of negative pixel distance would you prefer to have? -50 pixels for example?
  2. 2) Pentium 4 processors do not feature an on-die temperature diode. 3) AFAIK your SIO doesn't feature a temperature or voltage measurement logic. 4) Please copy-paste the full content of the Display / Monitor page of AIDA64 into this topic. Or, create a TXT report of that page and attach it to your post. Thanks, Fiery
  3. AIDA64 shows what the motherboard reports as cache voltage. In case the motherboard sensor reports an incorrect value, AIDA64 will also report the wrong value.
  4. Thank you. We'll try to replicate the issue using our own Strike7 keyboard, and I'll let you know in this topic about the progress on it.
  5. We've already tried to find a suitable Windows API call to match up logical drive letters with physical (like SATA, SAS or SCSI) drives, but haven't been able to find a perfect one yet. What we've found was not 100% reliable, and sometimes led to matching up the wrong drive with a particular drive letter We'll keep searching for the best solution, although the storage part of Windows API is overly complicated, and full of legacy calls mixed with modern features. Quite easy to get lost in there...
  6. The issue will be fixed in the next AIDA64 beta release due in a few days from now. I'll post a message into this topic once the new beta is available for download. Thanks, Fiery
  7. Thank you. Just like the previous time, the issue will be fixed in the next AIDA64 beta release due in a few days from now
  8. Thank you. Please let me know which fans are displayed properly, and which fans are missing. Thanks, Fiery
  9. The mentioned device may appear in the Device Manager, because AIDA64 enables that PCH device in order to let it measure PCH temperature. Try to reinstall Intel Chipset Device Software after the device appeared in the Device Manager.
  10. Thank you for your detailed bug report. Please note that the Mad Catz Venom LCD SDK has several issues that prevents using proper touch callback implementations. AIDA64 v4.70 already features a workaround to avoid such issues, but maybe your system has a pecularity that we haven't taken into account yet. Please let me know what Windows version do you have installed. Also, just to confirm: do you have Strike7 drivers v7.0.33.91 installed, and Strike7 API v1.1 installed? You can change the LCD refresh rate in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Hardware Monitoring / Update Frequency. Thanks, Fiery
  11. The original feature request, as posted by 72hundred, was not about automatic LCD page switching, but rather about the non-active pages being updated in the background. We've implemented that feature. As for your request, we'll work on that. It's definitely something that would come useful when the LCD display has no dedicated buttons and has no touch capability either. We're also planning to implement hot-key and MCE remote control support later on. I'll let you know in this topic once the automatic LCD page switching is implemented in AIDA64.
  12. We currently have no plans to provide a GPU selection facility. AIDA64 System Stability Test was designed to stress all components, all processors, all cores, all GPUs in the same time. Regards, Fiery
  13. Thank you. I suppose when SVID support is disabled, the power circuitry doesn't go through the standard path where the processor could measure its own power draw. I'm afraid we have no idea how to get around that limitation Intel's CPU documents do not feature enough details to fully understand how the power circuitry and its various modes work exactly
  14. Haswell-E/EN/EP/EX processors feature two quad-channel memory controllers (IMC), but on Haswell-E only the first one is utilized. Server parts (Haswell-EP for example) may have both controllers utilized, so you can use a total of eight DDR4 memory channels per CPU socket. As for the DIMM module size issue, we're aware of that, but it seems a bit complicated. The chipset (IMC) itself reports that memory module size, and so far we haven't found a proper way to come up with a workaround for that. We'll keep trying Till then, you can use the Motherboard / SPD page to check the full and accurate details on your installed memory modules. Regards, Fiery
  15. The Desktop Gadget subsystem has been removed from Windows 8.x, and most likely it won't be restored in Windows 10. While the AIDA64 SensorPanel is completely independent from the underlying operating system and its capabilities.
  16. No, we don't plan to get the EXE package back. BTW, you can create a Desktop icon for the AIDA64.EXE executable by right-clicking on the file --> Send to --> Desktop (create shortcut).
  17. AIDA64 Business is geared towards corporate use. Corporate users (e.g. network administrators) prefer the portable (ZIP) package, and don't need the added features the self-installer (EXE) package provides. Regards, Fiery
  18. Thank you for the feedback
  19. For that purpose you can use the existing Logging facility (AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Hardware Monitoring / Logging).
  20. Please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> CPU Debug --> CPUID & MSR Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic, or attach the results as a TXT file to your post. We'll have to check the registers, and compare them against our 5820K. Maybe there's a way to fix it up by applying a workaround. Thanks, Fiery
  21. Can you please check if you experience the same issue with HWMonitor? BTW, on our 5820K + Gigabyte X99-UD4 system AIDA64 measures cca. 10W at idle and 100W under heavy load. So the problem may be related to 5930K or Rampage V Extreme motherboard.
  22. Please upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild3206lgct2wrjxkzip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Let me know how if it helps.
  23. Please report the issue to cleverbridge, our online payment processor. They will have to investigate this. Thanks, Fiery
  24. In case the FPU-only test also works fine, then yes, it should be considered a safe setup.
  25. What kind of data or conclusion would you be able to draw from such output? Regards, Fiery
