  1. 1) Does the same issue happen if you launch AIDA64 with only the /SAFE command-line parameter? 2) Can you tell me more about the actual system (hardware) where that issue happens? E.g. motherboard model, CPU type, any RAID arrays defined? Thanks, Fiery
  2. If it's possible, please install the latest version of the Asus AI Suite 2 application, restart your computer, and repeat the AIDA64 report submit. It will then include a dump AIDA64 makes via an AI Suite 2 module. After submitting the report, feel free to uninstall AI Suite 2 if you don't need it. Thanks, Fiery
  3. We of course want to keep the current layout, in order to give skilled users the maximum flexibility. On the new layout you would be able to switch from a standard (cleaner, easier, simpler) layout to the current (advanced, skilled) mode via a button or a combobox. We're still gathering user feedbacks, and will make a decision about the standard vs. advanced layout mode later on. An alternative approach may be to keep the current "Sensor Item", "Static Label" and "Image" item types, and add a new one called "Simple Sensor Item". That new simpler item would not offer pixel-level adjustments, but only the adjustment of the following item properties: font type, text size, text color, bold/italic, show label, label, show unit, unit.
  4. Thank you. Please try to disable the following options in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Stability, and then restart AIDA64 and check if the Computer / Sensor page works now or not. - Apple SMC sensor support - Dell SMI sensor support - Koolance TMS-200 sensor support - Toshiba TVALZ sensor support - Volterra VT11xx sensor support Let me know if it helps. If not, then please try to issue the following 2 dumps. No need to copy-paste them here, just check if they lock up. 1) Right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Video Debug --> nVIDIA GPU Registers 2) Right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Video Debug --> nVIDIA SMBus Dump
  5. Both visual elements are on our roadmaps, so as some new bar styles. Although, I cannot promise to have graphs with multiple items on it, since it may be a bit difficult for users to understand and properly configure it. The SensorPanel feature is already complicated, so at first we have to improve on that to make it more user-friendly and easier to set up. Only after that we can start expanding its capabilities.
  6. You're right about that issue. We'll fix that in the next AIDA64 beta release. Thank you for the feedback.
  7. You can already achieve that layout by the new SensorPanel feature Regards, Fiery
  8. Negative pixel placement (down to minus 5) has been implemented in the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild1477kx8sd2yv3czip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade.
  9. Thank you. We've added the Scott monitor into the AIDA64 monitor database. Make sure to upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild1477kx8sd2yv3czip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade. Regards, Fiery
  10. We've added the requested menu item into the AIDA64 System Tray icon right-click menu. Make sure to upgrade to the latest beta version of AIDA64 Extreme Edition available at: http://www.aida64.com/downloads/aida64extremebuild1477kx8sd2yv3czip After upgrading to this new version, make sure to restart Windows to finalize the upgrade.
  11. In order to investigate this issue, we need to check the sensor readings and the GPU details. 1) Please copy-paste the full content of the Computer / Sensor page of AIDA64 into this topic. 2) In case you have an ATI or AMD GPU: right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Video Debug --> ATI GPU Registers. Copy-paste the full results into this topic. Then right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Video Debug --> ATI SMBus Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic. 3) In case you have a nVIDIA GPU: right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Video Debug --> nVIDIA GPU Registers. Copy-paste the full results into this topic. Then right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Video Debug --> nVIDIA SMBus Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic. Thanks, Fiery
  12. It must be a bug in AIDA64 that we have to hunt down. Please try the following: 1) Start AIDA64, right-click on the bottom status bar of its main window --> Sensor Debug --> ISA Sensor Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic. In case AIDA64 locks up while performing that dump, then please try to make a screen shot to show where the dump stopped. 2) Close AIDA64, start it again. Right-click on the bottom status bar of its main window --> Sensor Debug --> SMBus Dump (Full). Copy-paste the full results into this topic. In case AIDA64 locks up while performing that dump, then please try to make a screen shot to show where the dump stopped. BTW, what video card (or video cards) do you have in your system? Do you have any external hard disk drives or flash drives connected? Or any special USB or FireWire or eSATA devices connected, apart from keyboard, mouse and printer? Thanks, Fiery
  13. The SensorPanel can be any size. It can be a box, or a vertical strip, or even a horizontal strip. You can make it look like a Sidebar Gadget if you want. Just check out what a fellow AIDA64 user (called Dutch) put together: The SensorPanel has a lot of possibilities.
  14. Most of our customers actually like the way AIDA64 looks. It's not fancy or beautiful, but it's clean looking and easy to navigate. We may introduce a new GUI in the future, but it definitely won't be a "transparent 3D glass" kind of thing And BTW, a lot of AIDA64 users have the AIDA64 user interface completely hidden, since they utilize the monitoring features of AIDA64 via the SensorPanel or Logitech LCD or External Applications features.
  15. Please avoid posting a single question into multiple topics. I've replied your question in your other topic.
  16. We don't have plans about improving the design of the Sidebar Gadget. We're focusing on the new SensorPanel feature, to make it more usable and fancier as well. We don't want to copy the look'n'feel of other software BTW
  17. What I meant to say is that you should contact Asus and ask them whether they want to implement importing AIDA64 readings in their AI Suite application. We are not Asus, hence we cannot alter or enhance Asus' own application (AI Suite).
  18. AIDA64 is capable of exporting the sensor readings it measures for other applications. Asus would be able to import those readings into AI Suite application. Regards, Fiery
  19. Currently you can only use URLs on the SensorPanel when you lock the position of the panel (in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Hardware Monitoring / SensorPanel). We'll work on eliminating that limitation. And yes, you can enter a program path+filename as URL and double-clicking will launch the program.
  20. Maybe previously you had the GPU Fan Duty Cycle put on the LCD. Duty cycles are detected as percentage of full speed, while regular GPU Fan Speeds are measured in RPM. Check out the list of items you can add to your LCD, maybe you have both a GPU fan duty cycle and a GPU fan RPM as well.
  21. Franck should contact you directly in email soon
  22. Once you enable the SensorPanel, AIDA64 will remember that setting, and will automatically display the SensorPanel when you launch AIDA64. You can set AIDA64 to launch at every Windows startup. And you can also configure AIDA64 to hide its main window when you launch it (or when it is automatically launched at Windows startup). Both options are available in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / General.
  23. We may implement an export/import feature for the OSD and Sidebar feature in the future, but currently we're focusing on improving the new SensorPanel feature and revamping the Logitech LCD and Alerting features.
  24. We've now contacted Franck about this matter.
  25. We'll implement negative pixel placement to help you about the font issue. As for the rest, I think we'll wait for more feedbacks from our customers, and we'll decide whether we should implement a "Basic" (or "Easy") mode besides the current "Advanced" mode. Maybe we can make the new feature to act like the old one in default, and you can switch the current "Advanced" mode by pressing a button...
