beeonline
FYI, we've recently published a guide on how you can monitor your hardware on external displays with AIDA64. It includes instructions on how to enable this functionality as well on how you can customize the layout and the information you see on these devices. The guide is currently available in English and Italian: Monitor your hardware on external displays with AIDA64 Controlla lo stato del tuo hardware con AIDA64! Hope you'll find it useful. And let me know if you think that something is missing.

Fiery
Could the following DPF work with Aida64? I plugged it into my computer through the USB connection but nothing happened. Thank you for your help. Axion AXN-9701 Only Samsung SPF and AX206-based hacked firmware DPF devices can be used with AIDA64. Most DPFs do not support sending images on-the-fly (without copying them to the DPF's flash memory) over the USB connection.
asolomides@gmail.com
Thank you for your response. I'm considering buying a dpf and the Samsung dpf are difficult to find in the US. Would any following dpf brand work with Aida: - NIX, Viewsonic, HP, Alurek, Micca Thank you very much.
Fiery
Thank you for your response. I'm considering buying a dpf and the Samsung dpf are difficult to find in the US. Would any following dpf brand work with Aida: - NIX, Viewsonic, HP, Alurek, Micca Thank you very much. No, they're all unsupported. Out of those picture frames that you can pick up from a store, only Samsung SPF is supported. It is a limitation of the DPF devices, they aren't designed to handle such tasks... BTW, if you're US based, check out eBay. From time to time you can find a Samsung SPF device there for a great price.
Fiery
What about going at it a different way? Instead of sending a pre-rendered bitmap to be displayed, simply send plain text data and let the actual app do the rendering based upon the data received? Use the processing power of the tablet/phone instead of making AIDA64 on the PC do all the work. I can't imagine it would be too difficult to design a fairly simple (to start with) app that gave users let's say a square grid of X 'slots'. They get to pick which style is displayed in each box (e.g. graph, bar, text, gauge) and then what data to display on that box. Extremely oversimplifying it of course, but AIDA64 sends a short stream of text to the app where each packet's header is the box followed by the data itself.. Example value of "163" - could represent data destination is box 1, data is 63. The app receives it, knows it goes to box one, knows the user has specified box one is a graph and that it displays CPU utilization %. So the screen displays a pretty little graph and enters a 63% data point. All done with 3 characters of data for a single monitor in the app.. Easy peasy! Obviously there would be some limitations to make things easier and the full power of AIDA64 may not initially be present, but it's an extremely exciting path. I have yet to find anyone else doing it and bet lots of people would like it. Heck, could even be used as a (slower to update perhaps) remote system monitor. Lots of possibilities.. We've just rolled out the first public beta of the new mobile device LCD monitoring feature. We've come up with 2 different solutions: http://forums.aida64.com/topic/2610-logitech-arx-control-lcd-for-smartphones-and-tablets/ http://forums.aida64.com/topic/2636-aida64-web-server-lcd-for-smartphones-and-tablets/

Fiery
What about the Zalman HD160XT PLUS? This is a PC Case with imon support. here's the dump Thank you for the dump. Is this the one with the 7-inch touchscreen LCD? If yes, then I'm afraid it's not supported by AIDA64 right now, since we've got absolutely no information on how to handle that LCD. Do you have a software that could handle that? Apart from the Soundgraph iMON package?
reston
Dear Developers, Would it be possible to support the MFD panel of the Saitek X-52 Pro Joystick and display CPU/GPU Temperature data on the MFD panel? Here is a driver to the Saitek X52 Pro which also contains a DirectOutput SDK and some examples on how to output data to the MFD panel: ftp://ftp.saitek.com/pub/software/full/Saitek_X52Pro_Flight_Controller_SD6_64.exe Other Saitek drivers can be found here: ftp://ftp.saitek.com/pub/software/full/ Thank you
Fiery
I'd be happy to check out the SDK, but those drivers for the X52Pro do not seem to install at all without the actual hardware to be connected to the PC Do you know of a direct download link to the SDK alone, without the drivers and other buzz? reston
If you rename the .EXE file to a .ZIP file, you can extract it e.g. with Total Commander. Inside you'll find a DirectOutput.MSI file, which can be installed without the actual hardware and creates a Saitek folder with the SDK inside Program Files . I should have tried that myself I did manage to install the DirectOutput SDK, but it has no documentation at all, just 2 DLLs and an EXE file. Quite tough to go further from here. We'll contact Mad Catz and ask whether we can access the documentation for the SDK.
reston
If you have a 64bit system, please check both Program Files folders ('Program Files' and 'Program Files (x86)'). After installing the .MSI file I found Saitek folders in both Program Files folders. The folder at C:\Program Files (x86)\Saitek\DirectOutput contains an EXE file, 2 DLLs and a MANIFEST file. The other folder at C:\Program Files\Saitek\DirectOutput contains an SDK folder with more files including some documentation and examples (.CPP, .H files ). Hopefully this might help you. If the SDK folder is not created at your computer because of some reason, just let me know and I will upload the files for you somewhere. Thank you for dealing with this. Fiery
hi, Any chance we could get support for this device? iMON HD Mobile I think that device is already supported in AIDA64 v5.30 (latest version). Just enable SoundGraph iMon VFD support in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Hardware Monitoring / LCD.

Just enable SoundGraph iMon VFD support in AIDA64 / main menu / File / Preferences / Hardware Monitoring / LCD. Thx for reply... Unfortunately, it's says "Error: HID device not found" And this VFD worked fine with official software
