TV resolution issue

Hi, 

I bought a 40" Android Tv by Chinese brand Haier. They assure its resolution is FHD 1080p (1920 x 1080) but the aida64 app and others say its 720p (1280 x 720).

It does play videos at 1080p thats how they the brand justify that it is. It plays YouTube at 1080 etc. 

Now im no expert and should i return the product or accept what the TV brand says.
