  1. Please avoid posting a single issue into multiple topics. I've replied in your other topic. This topic is closed. Regards, Fiery
  2. I'm sorry, but what "theams" means? Regards, Fiery
  3. Ordering of System Tray icons is done by Windows itself. AIDA64 cannot use any ordering on them. Regards, Fiery
  4. Preferences settings are stored in the AIDA64.INI file that you can find in the AIDA64 installation folder. You can also use the Export button on the LCD Items page of the Preferences to backup your LCD settings.
  5. Which application do you use to play music?
  6. No problem, and thank you for letting us know about the root cause of the ads issue
  7. If you mean this site as this forum, then here there's no ads at all If you mean the main aida64.com website, then the ads are not that ubiquitous. The reason you may find yourself bumping into them all the time may be because you mostly visit the download page where the most ads are But if you navigate to other parts of the website, you'll see that ads are actually quite scarce.
  8. CPU Package temperature is read directly from the processor, as an absolute degrees Celsius temperature value. No TJMax is applied on it, no conversion is made on the readout. As it is read, it is displayed. Core temperatures are also read directly from the processor, as a relative value (distance from TJMax), in degrees Celsius. The TJMax value is read directly from the processor, and the core temperatures are calculated as: TemperatureResult = TJMaxValue - TemperatureReading If there's a discrepancy between the 2 different measurements, then the only one knowing the cause is the manufacutrer of your processor, Intel. We don't convert the values or alter them in any ways. All components of the formula is read from the processor, so in case the result seems wrong, one of the values provided by the processor itself must be wrong. But we have absolutely no control over that, and we shouldn't have it. BTW, especially on low-power Intel processors (like Broadwell-U and Broadwell-Y), the CPU tends to start throttling even when the core temperatures reflect a value 5 or more Celsius lower than TJMax. One conclusion might be that the core temperature measurement subsystem (Intel DTS) isn't all that accurate, and one shouldn't count on it to provide 1-Celsius or sub-Celsius accuracy Regards, Fiery
  9. I'm glad it worked out We've got many bug reports of missing Logitech DLLs, and in 99% of the cases a driver reinstallation fixed it up. Strangely, sometimes it has to be done multiple times to make it work
  10. It is Logitech's DLL, part of the Logitech G-Series driver package called LgLcdApi.dll. Try to reinstall the drivers, it should help.
  11. Please note that we've revamped the Logitech G15/G19 DLL scanning module in AIDA64 v5.00, so if you're using a previous AIDA64 version, you may get into troubles about that, but with AIDA64 v5.00 and v5.20 it should work just fine.
  12. Thank you, we'll fix the issue in the next AIDA64 beta update due to be rolled out in a few days from now.
  13. Just a quick guide, please let me know if you have difficulties with this, and at which point do you have issues: 1) Connect the AlphaCool LCD to the USB port of your computer 2) Download and install the latest version of AlphaLCD: AlphaLCD 1.0.4.48 Beta 3) Start AIDA64 (latest version: v5.20), go to main menu / File / Preferences / Hardware Monitoring / LCD, select the AlphaCool tab, and tick the checkbox to enable the AlphaCool LCD support 4) It should say "AlphaCool Init OK" with green colour once you've enabled the checkbox 5) Keep the Preferences open, and go to the next page called LCD Items. Press the New button or double-click in the empty list of items to add a new item to your LCD layout. If you have difficulties building your layout, refer to the following video: Note that the 2 most popular AIDA64 visual monitoring modules, SensorPanel and LCD both use the same layout building solution and the same rendering engine. So whatever you read or watch about SensorPanel, will also apply to the LCD module.
  14. Are you using the latest version of AIDA64, v5.20?
  15. That is one of the new improvements of AIDA64 v5.20, but I'm not sure in what way would it be related to your computer.
  16. Thank you. Is it 64-bit Win8.1 with Update 1 and all the other updates installed? SensorPanel should be able to work with 500 millisec update rate, just like other modules. The only constraint is that the update rate is measured between the end of the last update and the beginning of the next update. So in case polling all the sensors and other system values on your computer takes let's say 450 millisec, then the effective update rate will be 950 millisec.
  17. Thank you for the feedback. We'll fix that glitch in the next AIDA64 beta update.
  18. I'm afraid that's not the information we would need to implement support for your hardware
  19. Please right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Sensor Debug --> ISA Sensor Dump. Copy-paste the full results into this topic. Also right-click on the bottom status bar of AIDA64 main window --> Sensor Debug --> SMBus Dump (Full). Copy-paste the full results into this topic.
  20. We'll try to reproduce the issue on our test systems. Please let me know what Windows version do you have installed. Thanks, Fiery
  21. We would need a bit more information on that issue to fix it up What is the actual problem? Which values are reported incorrectly? Thanks, Fiery
  22. We don't have a list of those devices, simply because we don't manage a list of those. Last year we've started to compile a guide for LCD devices, that is in a beta stage. I can send that to you in email. Just drop me a private message if you're interested

  24. To me it sounds like an overheating issue. Maybe your system only gets excessively hot when all components are stressed in the same time. Regards, Fiery
